I've a question for anyone out there who may have answers.

I have been flying over Gaia yet... it has changed. Things are not as they were. Some places are gone, others have appeared in their place.

[There's a long pause.]

I wonder... what has happened to those that were in these places? Gaia has changed so drastically... is this because of what has been happening? These glimpses into the past?

My question is this; what is to happen to us? Will Gaia one day rip us out and cast us somewhere, as it has done to many of us previously?

Where does the madness end?

[The video kicks on to the sounds of footsteps crunching along, and shows an image of the odd glowing twilight of the Macalania woods. The camera shakes as whomever is holding it shifts to climb up over a tree root and then scramble over a giant ice spike, landing on the other side with a grunt.]

I can't believe this.

[Zidane finally starts talking, and turns the phone to him, giving a grin and a wave...although his attention is almost immediately shifted away, looking at the forest again.]

Evil forest has been turned into...I don't even know. It's amazing! And it's spreading like wildfire, I had to land the airship on the coast just to find anywhere to land at all. If anyone was planning to head to the ice caverns or...anywhere down here, I wouldn't. Well...

[He grinned.]

Unless you're curious. As soon as I saw this I had to check it out. It's completely different...like a whole different forest is here...

[And now he's climbing over another obstacle.]

[Moguo is flying over Wutai. There seem to be a lot of people out on the streets, marching with banners and shouting. As Moguo gets closer, their cries can be heard: "WE WANT SEPHIROTH! WE WANT SEPHIROTH!"]

Kupo! What's happening to the world? Everything's been turned upside down, kupo!

[He flies lower, and a man shouts.]

Hey, you! Moogle! Come here - we want the word out!

The word, kupo?

Yes! That good-for-nothing Kisaragi girl has left us in the lurch! We want General Sephiroth back, and we want him back now!

Kupo, aren't there more important things-

WE WANT SEPHIROTH! WE WANT SEPHIROTH! 

[The cheers drown Moguo out. And that's a stampede of rioters heading his way from the next street, so he takes off as fast as his little wings will carry him.]

Phew, kupo! All I wanted to do was check whether Wutai had changed like all those other places. I didn't expect this, kupo!

[Refia's in her room, dressed in full white mage regalia, robe and all. She's holding something in her hands - careful looking reveals a doll, one that looks to be handmade, with a shock of red yarn hanging to its "shoulders" for hair and a clumsily-sewn blue dress, though she's not purposefully displaying it to the camera.]

I can't just sit around and do nothing. People keep disappearing, this place is changing so much, and it's all just so much to take in.

I talked to Wade, and he's all right with this... I'm going to be leaving Lindblum for awhile. If I can find something to help us all, I have to do it.

[She reaches for the phone, then pauses.]

Eiko? Can I come up to the castle?

Can anyone tell me more about the effects of a dead pepper?
