[Video feed picks up Lazard in pieces as he shifts the apparent communication device, trying to work out its function. He's well dressed and surprisingly put together, even for the fact that he's been walking somewhat aimlessly for the better part of a day. He removes a handkerchief from his jacket and very deliberately wipes sweat from his brow. Behind him, Burmecia can clearly be seen and it appears he's seated somewhere in the central square.

He has actually just recently discovered the comm device on his person, as he was fairly certain until now that he had dreamed the visitation from the talking moogle in the middle of the night. He seems to realize that he can connect to a network via the video function.
The feed cuts out and then cuts back in, and this time he's arranged himself much more eloquently in the center of the screen.]

Where is Mother? Where are my brothers? Kadaj? Loz? I thought we were in this together. Isn't that what you always said? Why have you forsaken me, Mother? I am your child. I have never blocked out your voice unlike some of those in that city.
