[The video clicks on and shows a man with long silver hair. He tilts his head, gazing at his surroundings. After a moment, he turns to the device, green eyes glowing faintly.]

Where is Mother? Where are my brothers? Kadaj? Loz? I thought we were in this together. Isn't that what you always said? Why have you forsaken me, Mother? I am your child. I have never blocked out your voice unlike some of those in that city.

We were so close to obtaining you. Send me back and I assure you that we will not fail. No one will stand in our way. I don't care if big brother never acknowledges us. We can be a complete family without him. The one that matters most is you, Mother.

Unless... [Here, he pauses.]

Are you testing me? That must be it. You want me to find my way back to Kadaj and Loz. You want me to find my way back to you.

[Completely at a loss for words once she noticed those bright green mako-infused eyes, Aerith must have looked a tad pale now as she stared into the camera. There was an expression of dread setting upon the brunette's face, one that could easily be confused for fear.]

[There is something about Aerith that makes him pause, however.]

[Falling quiet for a brief moment once he asked her that question, Aerith couldn't help but feel that sense of dread get worse now. To any outsider watching these two, they could tell easily that there is more monologue than dialogue happening here.]

No, I don’t think I know the ‘Mother’ you are talking about. At least not that Mother…

[Briefly glancing away from the camera, the flower girl’s gaze lingered upon her hands.]

Are you…[She took a deep breath.] Are you apart of this Mother or is she really your mother?

[Shelke actually stares at the camera for a good minute or so, trying to sort out exactly what it means that a Remnant is talking through the phones. Whatever it might mean, it isn't good. Her gaze flicks away.]

Sephiroth Remnant, designation: Yazoo. Lowest threat factor of three known remnants. Presumed destroyed in explosion at Midgar Ruins.

[She seems to be speaking to herself, recalling what information she had on the man from the Shinra and Deepground files in her head. Finally though, her glowing blue eyes turn back to him.]

The other remnants are not here. The Jenova fragment is also not here.

[Yazoo glares at the classification, unamused that she would constrain him to such scientific parameters. Mother would never do that, Shelke. She loves all of them equally. Therefore anyone else who judges him is unworthy of doing so.]

Are you done? Mother wouldn't have sent me here if there were no traces of her.

[He refuses to doubt about his Brothers or their Mother. Once he did that, he might just lose what little sanity he has left.]

You are not one of her children. Only her children can sense her.

[The young girl doesn't seem particularly interested in responding to the second point. The fact that the remnants think they can sense Jenova had been disproven when one of them had not realized Rufus was holding the head the entire time they spoke.[
