[Mjrn's face dominates the screen, her eyes wide with concern. She appears a bit disheveled but at this point, who isn't?]

[When the video crackles to life, it shows the sky for a moment, before there's a roar and the sound of heavy objects smashing into the ground. The image whirls, sky-ground-sky-broken building-ground-sky-ground, and then stops facing skyward, a fairly nice blue sky marred by a cloud of thick brown smoke floating off into it.]

[For several moments there is only silence, punctuated by a distant thumping of something very large moving around, and then the phone is picked up, and shows the face of a little girl who couldn't be more than five or six. She has dirt on her cheeks, and a cut on her forehead, and she turns the phone this way and that.]

Terra, I found it!

[The little girls shouts, and a moment later there's a roar, closer than the one earlier, and an arm comes into view wrapped in a fancy red sleeve, scooping child and phone up.]

Yes, I see that honey. Now hush, please...

[Terra's voice is soft, breathless from running, and the little girl points the camera at her as they move. Her green hair is loose from its normal ponytail, and she's just as covered in dirt and the occasional cut as the child was. Then the camera turns away, showing what appears to be South Figaro, free of Kefka's assault only to be ravaged by something else. Despite the swinging motion of the screen, it's not hard to make out one of the nearby buildings. It seems to have escaped some of the damage, except now the roof suddenly buckles under the weight of...well, nothing. It collapses inward, dropping the invisible creature inside, and there's another roar as one of the walls crashes outward, shattering as it hits the ground.]

Terra, it's coming!

Shhh...

[The screen whirls again, showing a shot of the ground and then the underside of a broken wall as Terra slides underneath a beam and into one of the broken houses.]

Let me have the phone, sweetie...

[After a moment, the screen shows Terra, sitting in the corner of the room they are in, holding the child in one arm and the phone in the other.]

Celes, it's on the west side of town, I...I don't know what it is. It's big, and kinda invisible, it just knocked down another house...I found a little girl, W-we're hiding in the chocobo stables...

[There's a roar from outside, and the screen and whole building shake.]

Won't be able to stay here long.

[The video flicks on to the image of Vayne standing in the foreground against the Wutai backdrop. There is perhaps not as much chaos in the village as there is in other cities, despite the monster density being equal to those found elsewhere. Any number of armed fighters are putting down the beasts, while others are escorting citizens to the largest dwelling present.]

Citizens of Wutai: Those who have not already done so, shelters have been set aside to accommodate you until this crisis has passed. Panic is not necessary, nor is it productive. Protectors have been stationed throughout the town to escort you to a place of safety. I ask that you do all within your power to maintain order, and to likewise ensure the welfare of your neighbors.

Gabranth, once the civilians have been seen to secure quarters, I have a new task for you.

[An abysteel flies right at Vayne, who punches the bat one handed, and it drops to the ground.]

Larsa, I would know your whereabouts and condition.

005 - Steiner - Video/Action

[Steiner is standing in Alexandria's main square, sword at the ready.]

Knights, at arms! Protect the citizens! Defeat these Mist-spawned fiends!

[The Pluto Knights gather behind him. They look scared, but they're standing firm, guarding the castle entrance. Screams and the sounds of battle can be heard in the background as citizens flee and Alexandrian soldiers attempt to keep the monsters at bay. Rather ominously, there's also an icy Entite hovering nearby - docile as yet, but probably not for long.

Two Vivians lurch into view.]

CHAAAAARRRRGE!

[Accidental Video | Public | Action] Squall Leonhart- Malboroughs

[The video feed goes on just in time to see a Malboros collapse onto the grass in front of Squall. Squall's still alive, but isn't looking too good. Anyone watching this video can see that he's bleeding from a number of places and his face looks just a bit green.

Still, Squall walks warily forward to grab the loot from the Malboro before digging into his pocket for a potion and an antidote. He'd just downed the antidote when ANOTHER Malboro charges up towards him.]

Not another one. This had better not be a repeat of lunar cry.

[An empty hi-potion bottle is dropped carelessly to the ground, and Squall draws his gunblade again. The video cuts off here.]
