He is injured but his friend is caring for him.

[Lulu winces at a particularly hard kick from her Blitzer baby, then smiles slightly, glancing at her stomach.]

[ There is muffled muttering as the video starts, showing a (sideways) shot of Midgar from a bit away before the camera is moved to sit upright. Red XIII moves in front of the camera, tail twitching slightly before sitting down and acknowledging the camera with a steady gaze. ]

These things are a bit difficult to use without thumbs...

[ Shaking his head, he shifts slightly. ]

I am not entirely sure how I ended up here, or what will happen in my absence from home. Behind me is Midgar, but not my Midgar, and I'm afraid that I may have startled the moogles a bit too much when I woke up. I also found something. It seems... important, somehow, though that is mere speculation on my part.

[ Red glances at something offscreen, presumably whatever it is that he's found, before looking back to the camera. ]

If someone cares to explain what is going on, or knows a bit about artifacts that one might stumble across in a version of Midgar that is giving me a bizarre sense of deja vu, please respond.

[ He moves away from the camera and there is a shot of Midgar again before the screen goes black. ]

[the screen flickers, and a cozy inn-room is shown, where Zack is sitting up in a bed, his head bandaged. Apparantly he's just woken up, or something close to that..]

Ugh.. my head really freakin' hurts..

I couldn't remember anything when I first woke up.. so I checked all my old posts on this thing.. I guess I'm Zack Fair? Ex-SOLDIER 1st Class, or something like that.. [he winces, his glowing eyes looking pained as he tries to remember.]

I.. only really have names. Where's, er.. Cloud? Tee-fah? Hrmph.. nothing seems right to say.. [a long pause, where he studies the screen intently.]

..Lulu? Does that ring any bells..?

[There is a long awkward pause. Then suddenly there's a video, which Zidane carefully keeps himself (mostly) out of. He's holding up the Toria pass close to the screen. Change of topic, an excellent diversion! ... Maybe.]
