[ The video pans along Alexandria's skyline, settling on the castle for a few seconds before the devide is turned to focus on Fran, sat on a rooftop, with a bottle of ale. ]

Check out the view! Beautiful, isn't it? Yet, even so, I still do not feel at ease in this world. I feel as though I am merely drifting along with no real purpose. I cannot remember ever feeling this way before. Even when I left Eruyt I felt as though my life had reason, even if I didn't find it right away.

Here I feel as though I am not truly needed. Mjrn has grown up so much, she has spread her wings. She does not need her big sister looking over her. In fact, it seems that within this world she knows far more people than I could ever hope to, and confidence seems to flow from her.

And then there is Balthier...

[ She turns the device away from herself to focus on the castle once more instead of her face. ]

Even though he is unsettled and unhappy in this place, I still do not believe he truly needs me anymore. He is far more than capable of coping by himself. I do not know how much longer our partnership shall last, and that scares me...

[ She turns the device back to face herself, sadness lingering in those crimson eyes. ]

I shall see what this world holds for me. I shall not simply fade away...

[ She looks as though she wants to say something else, but instead simply switches the device off. ]

It seems I have been added to a motley crew boarding the large, flying structure just outside of Alexandria.

Tifa, if you've still the desire to head for Treno, perhaps you should join this group that is headed that way.

[A long pause, in which a gunshot goes off.]

Princess Ashelia; I may be bound for Treno and most like Lindblum afterwards, but should you need my aid for anything, please state so. I shall be there in a flash.

And Penelo? If you've anything you need, let me know soon. I do believe you are not joining us on this expedition, correct? This... leaves me ill at ease.

[Another gunshot and the device is switched off.]

Guys... we've got a problem. You know those hitchhikers you let into Garden, Squall? Well, maybe you should have checked them out first, because I was just talking to Balthier and he said that he'd rather murder Vayne than talk to him. I'm guessing his partner Fran thinks the same, and maybe all the Viera for all I know. He knows Ashe too, and Vayne asked us to keep Larsa away from Ashe, remember? We've probably just let half of Vayne's enemies onboard!

What are we gonna do?

We found Larsa! He turned up somewhere near Lindblum, so Selphie's gone to fetch him. He'll be safe with her until Garden gets there to pick him up. He's sort of... a few years older, but I guess the contract's still on, right?

Oh, and... could you tell us if there's anyone else you want us to keep him away from? I think a few more people have turned up from your world since we last talked, and they really don't seem to like you.

I'm out here heading towards Goug. I can't let the creature kill everyone there, besides all treasure hunting there has stopped as well. It seems this creature is dangerous.  I'm not sure if I can take it on my own.  Anybody up for the challenge?
