I would have never imagined a city could be so big. How do people find their way around without a map? Does anyone know what those horrid smelling pickles are that are being sold in the Business District? They really should be outlawed.
Ellone, I hope you're okay by yourself. I still feel bad leaving you behind. Are you alright?
Are you available to talk? I owe you an apology. I would have called, but I don't have the number.

Date: 2010-03-06 06:37 am (UTC)I guess you could say I do but only in moderation. I don't want to stink! Not even the sweetest smelling flowers could hide an odor like that.
Those gyshal pickles are only good when you're feeling a tad bold.

I think I'll let others be the bold ones. Being here is bold enough for now.

[She giggles.] I'm Aerith Gainsborough, it's nice to meet you.

I grow some flowers that I sell to the local florist, or I suppose did grow...
[She trails off into a thoughtful silence for a bare moment.]
I'm not much for travel, but I wouldn't mind visiting a few places. I miss the company of someone else who has a green thumb.

[So very happy to meet another gardener, Aerith almost couldn't wait to meet Raine now.]
What kind of flowers did you grow, Raine? Mine were just common yellow and white flowers that used to sprout from the patch of grass within the old church. They had long bright green stems and pretty thin petals.
The yellow flowers tend to grow more than the white ones, so I charged a little extra when I sold the white ones.

Date: 2010-03-08 08:17 pm (UTC)Yep. I'm growing a few flowers outside of the inn I'm staying in. So far the innkeeper really likes them, so I think I might be able to make some extra gil by selling them here.
The people of Lindblum like flowers more than the folks from home, I can sell them for higher than a gil here.

Date: 2010-03-10 12:19 am (UTC)I can't imagine only selling flowers for a gil. They're the primary product of my village, although almost everything it produces is sold to the city. I've noticed more than a few florists around Lindblum while I was getting a tour.
