Sorry. I'm being stupid. I thought that everything would be okay as long as Cloud was here, and I should know by now that it's not. I don't know what to do...

But Denzel... Yes, he's tough, but if you knew his history... Cloud found him wandering around the slums. He's lost so much, his family, everything. We're all he's got. That's why I can't leave him, not on his own.

[Figuring already that something was wrong between Cloud and Tifa, she wonders now why he hasn't bothered to say anything to her regarding this. He seemed so willing to tell her other things but nothing regarding him and Tifa.

So that's why you want to make a family for Denzel, I understand now. That poor boy lost everything and everyone he ever loved but what does Cloud think about this idea of making a family?

I know he would make a great father but he seems so lost right now. Maybe lost isn't the best way to describe it but Cloud does seem like he doesn't know what to do anymore.

He's scared and you seem scared too.

You two need to talk and be honest with each other because if you both don't something bad could happen.

[Though she does have this nagging feeling that she needs Cloud more than he needs her. He ran off to meet Tidus without seeing her first, and now it seems like he's always with Firion. It really doesn't help that the first thing Cloud said to describe him was that Firion is like Aerith. But Tifa's not going to say anything about this because she's trying not to be jealous. Now more than ever, she really misses Barret.]

Well... Okay. I'll see if I can come with you. But I'll have to make sure that Cloud won't get himself into trouble first.

Cloud won't get himself in any trouble, he's a big kid but he isn't that much of a kid. Just make sure not to scare him off. You know how he can be.
