mooglenet_backup[It’s a shaky feed and emitting a heavy panting from the man who’s holding said phone. There’s no shot of him however, but a dirty brown boot and green paratrooper pants. The video is then directed at the busy-looking little town of Lindblum. And he’s obviously far away for where he should be.]
That’s…. Lindblum, ain’t it? [Heavier breathing, as if talking that little bit wore him out. Then a coughing wheeze came over he and the speakers, the view swinging down to the ground to view shoes and a toppled over shadow.
A moment later, he’s back up, clearing his throat and throwing around profanities.] Goddamn… P-O-S body... outta gil… no smokes… bullshit. All’a it. [He grumbles some more before turning around and looking around him; forest.]
Well. Hot damn. That looks like a nice a’nough tree … See ya guys in the mornin’!
[The feed cuts off there, shut off in his pocket.]

After you made the Sierra, I thought you would never be content to deal with any airship but that one. [Cid's planes and airships could be his children, with all of the attention he puts into them.]
Would I lie? Especially when it would involve you having to deal with nicotine withdrawal? [He's chuckling at the thought, even though Cid would probably get snappy beyond all belief.] They have tea, at least.

[He pauses for a second, puckering lips like he had a cigarette in them.] If I had 'er here then hell yeah I wouldn't use anything else. One'a the best goddamn ships I've ever seen. But I ain't got anything but my feet.
[He starts grumbling again. Of course he wouldn't lie. He'd be on rampages every waking moment. Then he might as well just get a coffin and curl up while he was at it.] Tea ain't gonna cut it. The hell am I gonna do.

[He'd have to beat Vincent to it. It's hard to find peace anywhere else, even if it's horribly morbid. Vincent is glad he's away from Lindblum for the moment.] Find something to distract yourself. There are plenty of monsters in this world.
