That's still no reason to doubt you. A lot of weird things happened to us in the past, right? Sephiroth and JENOVA just to name a few.

But still! It's not fair! Cloud wouldn't lie about something like this and if none of our friends believe him, then what does that say about us as a whole?

It says that all we're good for as a group is fighting the bad things. We know that Aerith. AVALANCHE isn't a functioning family.
