[Now it's time for the trip to Lindblum. She's personally headed for the Inn. May or may not have company, that's up to the others. But for now she's looking for Tifa, Cloud, and co.

[Tifa looks up from serving a customer at the sound of her name, and her eyes widen in surprise. She finishes dealing with the customer before wiping her hands and going over to Celes.]

Celes, hey! What brings you to Lindblum?

[She looks slightly more relaxed but a little preoccupied anyway.]

Had a little business and I figured I'd look around. How are you, Cloud, and Shelke?

Our little family has grown since then. Denzel, Marlene and some of our friends are here with us too. We're doing okay.

Can I get you anything?

[Celes hesitates a moment.]

Water's enough.

[She doesn't take much.]

Glad to hear it. Memoria, or whatever it was... that was something I'd rather not relive.

[Tifa gets her some water.]

[She nods.] Me too. So... Did you come here alone?

[She murmurs a 'thank you' as she takes the glass and sips.]

No. I had to stop by Treno with Terra to pick someone else up and there we ran into a friend of ours. I'm not sure where the other three are, but I'm sure they're in the city somewhere.

[She pauses a moment. Small talk isn't her best thing.] I guess you're living here then?

Yes, for now. We couldn't keep dragging the children around not knowing where we'd end up, so Lindblum seemed like a decent place to stay.

[She gestures around the pub.] And we have to make a living somehow.

Understandable.

[She glances around as well.] It's nice here. Makes me wish I could settle down.

[Tifa shrugs.] We didn't really have much choice. But couldn't you, if you wanted?

[Celes glances away at that, her eyes going cold as she stares at a wall and shakes her head.]

Not until Kefka is defeated. I can't let him remain free.

Kefka. Ugh. So is that why you're in Lindblum? He's not here any more, I'm pretty sure of that.

If he was, he'd have made his presence known the moment Terra and I arrived. He wouldn't have been able to resist both of us in the same place at the same time.

[She glances back, her eyes softening just enough that she's no longer glaring, but she still looks a little tense.]

Sabin and Terra had people they wanted to meet with.

[Tifa nods, glancing around at waiting customers.]

I'm sorry, I'd love to talk more, but I have to work... Are you going to be staying a while?
