I know a lot of us have found that some people don't like those of us that come from other places, but not everyone is like that! Even with being from another world, I have a job now! Or an apprenticeship, really, but it's the same thing!

[She's smiling and looking about ready to bounce on her feet - being idle irks her, so much, so this offer came just in the nick of time.]

So for you Gaians who don't like us, just give us a chance, please! We want to make living here as comfortable as we can, for everyone, and just want something like a normal life. Or most of us, anyway. And us Sky People, just keep trying! Something's bound to come through!

[And Refia suddenly blushes at how preachy she was getting, raising her hands briefly in front of her mouth to hide her embarrassment as best she can (and failing).]

I mean... this place isn't evil, and neither are the people coming to it. We all just want to live - we should be able to do that.

Nay, I doubt anyone could be offended by such truthful honesty. I do find it rather silly to be prejudice towards anyone only because of their nationality. Perhaps the people of Gaia should heed your words.

Most Sky People just want to find a way to live peacefully until we can return home, but it's people like Kefka that screw it up for the rest of us. I can't blame them for worrying about who else like that might cross over, but you're right; it's not fair to blame those of us who have nothing to do with that.

Yes! It took a few days, and a few tests, but I actually have work now! Now I can stop borrowing money from Ingus...

Kefka seems to be the only one who's like that, though. I mean, I'm sure there's Sky People who aren't nice people, but there's people from Gaia that aren't nice people so there's no real difference, isn't there?

I've heard of others, especially one man who talked a bit like Kefka. His name was Weiss, I think? But I haven't heard anything about him in a while, so maybe he returned. And no, there isn't much difference when it comes to troublemakers. People will find that out, sooner or later.

I'm going to learn to be a synthesist, instead of a blacksmith. They're like a magical smith, and make all sorts of weapons and armor and items from what people bring to them.

It's... in some places and people more than others, I think. I've had it happen a few times since arriving here, and the other day this woman chased me away with a broom screaming about "filthy persons from the sky."

It just seems pointless to me to not allow us to live.

Indeed, it is pointless and cruel to treat us in such a manner. We did not chose to arrive, but desire to contribute. After the sudden shift to winter, I would think extra aid would be more welcome.
