[There is a pause, as if the person is collecting their thoughts. The sound of fabric rustling can be heard, but other than that there is a surprisingly small amount of background noise.]

I'm in a church. [The voice of the speaker is obviously male, deep and a bit rough.]

The... moogle, said that I was a "Sky Person." [He hesitates, obviously unsure of what exactly that should mean to him.] I was just on the Sierra, and yet now I find myself here, with no memory of anything in between. If this is a hallucination, it's a believable one, except for the moog- Ah!

[There is a completely involuntary gasp of pain from the man, and the Sky Phone creaks as his grip tightens dangerously around it.]

Cloud. [His voice is too strained to sound as nonchalant as he wants it to. It also means that he can't brush it off. At least this is Cloud and Cloud won't make a bigger deal of it than need be made.]

Chaos, it's- [His teeth are grinding together tightly against the pain of the demon trying to take control of his body.]

[It takes him a long moment to loosen his grip on the phone, and them even longer to figure out how to find the map.]

It says Lindblum. [He stifles another hiss of pain by biting his lip, and his hand tenses up on the Sky Phone once again.]

[He sounds a little stuffy, but that doesn't stop Cid from being excited his friend was here or the worry that voiced from him.]

I'm fine, Highwind. [Even through the pain, he manages to grit out the sarcasm. Just for you, Cid.]

I would appreciate knowing what is going on. [He was just on the Sierra, and now he's not. If this is Cid's fault, he is going to be irritated. Once Chaos is through with him, anyway.]

Of course. [This one comes out sounding more pained than sarcastic, but he's still trying to hide it. He makes a conscious effort to loosen his grip on the phone. It was supposed to tell Cid to keep from asking again, but Cid is being Cid and ignoring his hints.]

[Shelke considers the screen for several moments before she says anything, her glowing blue eyes slightly narrowed. There is a hint of a smile on her face.]

It's good to see you here. [He's glad to have Nanaki, since they did make that promise. Though with the protomateria gone and the things that are happening to him, he isn't so sure of his immortality any more.]

The others have told me about this place.

...Yuffie? [Something is off about the voice, but he is attributing that to the time shifts Cloud mentioned. He's still operating under the assumption that only people from his world are in this new place.]
