CECIL'S PARTY

[ It had really been Lilisette's idea, and she had been instrumental in getting it all planned out and running. Rosa was grateful to the girl's diligence and cheer, willing to help out wherever needed. The courtyard of the castle was set up with decorations and refreshments, and tables and chairs had been set up as well, in case people wanted to sit down for a little bit. The castle was also being decorated, so people could also wander around if they wanted to as well.

For her part, Rosa had sent Cecil on set duties for the day, periodically checking up on him to be sure he was doing all right and to be sure he wasn't planning on going back before they were ready.

Eventually, everything was prepared, the guests were due to arrive shortly, and Rosa was on her way to fetch her husband. ]

It is... strange for me to wear such a thing. [Dresses and other 'nice things'... just aren't what she's used to. But the more time she spends in it, the more comfortable she feels. Better than when she was wearing her armour, at least, when she was prone to fidgeting.] Though, I do not mind it.

[She nods, slowly.] Edge... he asked a servant to pick it out for me.

Edge did? [Somehow, that doesn't surprise him at all. Any excuse to see a pretty girl in a pretty outfit.] That servant had a good eye. It suits you well.

[And then, onto the matter at hand...] There is certainly a turn out. I feel this will be my only chance to wish you well on your birthday.

Yes, it seems like everyone was invited. Likely I'm going to be exhausted by the end of the night just trying to talk with everyone at least once. [He smiles wryly.] I'm glad I've had the chance to speak with you, regardless.
