[Minwu would have preferred to not contact Rinoa over the communications device. It just seems (especially to him) as the wrong way about doing this but beggars cannot be choosers. Especially regarding the fact Rinoa appears to be attached to an organization of people which happen to live on a giant floaty airship-like thing that he has absolutely no hope of approaching on foot.]

...Hello.

I apologize for contacting you unexpectedly, Also for contacting you in this manner without having met you. I also apologize for any confusion this message may cause... Yet I would ask something of you on behalf of another without the means to -- the witch, Matoya.

She has devised a way of which could be the beginning of the end of the spell which has brought us all here. For it, however... she requires assistance from those of your talents.

['talents' is a funny way of putting it since to him, the last he saw of said talents was the assassination of Princess Garnet. He's heard the rumours; and he's witnessed the general venom the populace held toward the sorceress. He doesn't feel it- not at all. It's his mannerism to be respectful to those of great magical power and this is Matoya's plan- not his- which means he's rather detached from it. He's essentially a messenger. That is all. ]

[Rinoa being a Sorceress is public knowledge, but she hadn't expected someone to actually contact her about it, not like this. He sounds polite, but she doesn't know him, so... She's frowning slightly, wondering if she ought to be suspicious.]

Matoya wants something from me? I'm sorry, I don't think we've met... Who are you?
