[The camera is static, as the feed starts. Serah's sat at the living room table in the house, the flowers that Basch gave to Lightning just visible to her left. She looks tired, exhausted - and her eyes are red. It's not been long since she found out what happened the night before, after calling Basch, and why Lightning never came home. It's only taken her a few minutes to set up the feed, and she hasn't told any of her friends what's happened, yet. And even though she feels like her world is crashing, she has to let the people who cared about Lightning know before it does.

After a moment's quiet, she swallows, looking towards the camera, her eyes glassy.]

Some of you won't... know me. I'm Serah Farron... Lightning's sister.

Sis has- sorry, Lightning has-

[pause. every word that follows, her voice is on the edge of breaking.] Lightning's gone home.

[She's silent, before wiping at her eyes, and the feed ends.

A little while later, she can be found still in the living room of the house, arms folded across the table, her head buried into them. Next to her is a photoframe - of her and her sister, back in Bodhum - what she brought back from the world merger.]

Captain Ronsenburg, right? He got them at my shop.. [ Another pause. ] I don't know if it's any consolation, but.. he seemed very happy when he bought them.

That's him. [she nods, slowly.] ... a little. It's good to hear he was. [she smiles, but she seems sad. it's just occured to her that... she never got to talk to Lightning about how her date went. But it is... nice to know that Basch is sincere.]

So they were close, then. [ Yuna smiles a little sadly at Serah. ]

I see! Those flowers mean "appreciation" and "affection".. so I wondered who was so lucky.

If she has a sister like you, and someone like him waiting for her.. I'm sure she'll come back.

[Serah nods to the meaning of the flowers; despite herself, smiling very slightly.]

I ... thank you. Really.

[a pause.] What's your name?

Oh! I'm so sorry. I'm Yuna. And you're welcome.

Yuna. I'm Serah, like... I said before.

[a smile, soft.] You run a flower shop? I might come buy some... [it might cheer her up, for one.]
