[The camera is static, as the feed starts. Serah's sat at the living room table in the house, the flowers that Basch gave to Lightning just visible to her left. She looks tired, exhausted - and her eyes are red. It's not been long since she found out what happened the night before, after calling Basch, and why Lightning never came home. It's only taken her a few minutes to set up the feed, and she hasn't told any of her friends what's happened, yet. And even though she feels like her world is crashing, she has to let the people who cared about Lightning know before it does.

After a moment's quiet, she swallows, looking towards the camera, her eyes glassy.]

Some of you won't... know me. I'm Serah Farron... Lightning's sister.

Sis has- sorry, Lightning has-

[pause. every word that follows, her voice is on the edge of breaking.] Lightning's gone home.

[She's silent, before wiping at her eyes, and the feed ends.

A little while later, she can be found still in the living room of the house, arms folded across the table, her head buried into them. Next to her is a photoframe - of her and her sister, back in Bodhum - what she brought back from the world merger.]

[True, he and Lightning hadn't gotten along at times, and especially not in the last cycle of the war. And true, she didn't even remember any of it. But she's still a war comrade of his regardless.]

At first he had thought that she had just gone out to clear her head or something, but he had even tried calling her on her phone, but to no avail.

His voice is quiet when he speaks.]

Serah. If you should require anything, do not hesitate to ask.

[Frowning, Snow helps himself to a seat beside her, gently laying a gloved hand flat against her back. It had been difficult to hear the news about Lightning, and almost impossible to imagine how badly Serah had to be hurting right now. But they way he hurt, seeing Serah so broken? ... he figured he could wager a pretty good guess.]

Miss Farron... my condolences. [Balthier knows very little about Serah other than the fact that she's Lightning's sister, but he likes Lightning well enough, and she means a great deal to his friend. Of course, he's concerned.]

[Hope finds Serah sitting in the living room. He hesitates at first. Before, he didn't have the words, didn't know what to say when he lost his mother.

Now Light's gone too, and he still doesn't have the words. But he knows what Serah's going through, knows that giving her empty words won't console her in the slightest, so he just moves to the table and quietly sits with her.]

[Fang hears the message, but doesn't come out right away. Light's her best friend - almost her twin, in some ways - and she needs to deal with this on her own. But eventually, she makes her way into the living room, looking at Serah. She doesn't say anything, though.]
