Yes. I was one of the group that traveled to retrieve it. It was how we first discovered the army of undead that she was amassing.
As for broadcasting it... I doubt that even if she managed to gain a second one, I do not feel that she would choose to conceal it to us. It seems to be her nature to gloat. It would undoubtedly be far more difficult to retrieve, however.
