[Tifa had promised her not to tell Zack of where they were going, and she'd made certain the Shelke wouldn't mention anything either. If she couldn't do anything else, then she could at least protect him from what could possibly happen. There was part of her that felt that Tifa wouldn't allow such a course of action either, but this time the flower girl hoped that it wouldn't come down to it. The Planet was just in so much pain though that she worried there might not be another way.

Aerith came to a stop when she sighted the Iifa tree was off in the distance. It was unlike anything she'd ever seen before, and she stared at it in awe for a moment. She knew this was the place though, as the Planet's voice seem to be stronger here than it had been even in Midgar.]

[It's taken Locke a week or so for the rawness of the pain to dull and for himself to see things a little more clearly. He can't begrudge Balthier for talking to her while he was gone, but he does have something to say. Somehow it feels safer sending a note and leaving it in the other man's hands to decide how to respond.]
