[The air rushing over the speaker nearly obscures the voice yelling to be heard through the wind, and the picture is clearly being taken from the air - Fang has the phone in broadcast mode in one hand, while the other is holding her staff and one of Bahamut's ridges to help her keep her seat as the dragon wheels around the outside of the really freaking tall building floating in midair. Eiko's birthday gift to Lightning has benefited more than one of the l'Cie, and Fang couldn't be gladder to be back in the air.]

This thing's got to be a couple miles tall at least! Over a mile wide, that's for sure. Still can't see any sort of entrance-

[Just then, Bahamut roars and soars down in almost a face-first dive towards the bottom of the massive structure, Fang holding on easily.]

You got something? Great, then where- There!

[Right near the bottom of the tower there's a tiny, tiny human sized door, as big as a speck of dust compared to this thing. The eidolon wheels around, allowing Fang to get a good shot of the door and the computer panel that probably controls it.]

Hope we've got someone good with wires out there. Okay, we've got a way in!

[ Vanille had a plan. A master plan, even. Vanille had such a good plan, she didn't think anything could stop it.

She'd asked Serah, Fang, and Lightning to go with her to Narshe. And she'd also called ahead and asked Basch if he'd give them a tour of the town. Her plan was for the tour to end with Basch and Lightning doing some talking of their own. If all went well...

Bouncing a little on the balls of her feet, Vanille headed inside the town limits, waiting for everyone to catch up and hoping that Basch would arrive soon, too. She'd set up a private video feed to Relm, Marlene, and Eiko, muting the sounds coming from them so that her phone wouldn't make anyone suspicious. There wasn't much to see, though she'd managed to make a phone holder on her hip that hooked to her pouch. This way, she wouldn't be holding onto her phone with her hands the whole time. With luck, the girls would be able to see what was going on as it unfolded.

And maybe later, Vanille could go see Ursula. The other girl was quickly becoming a friend to her.

Spining around with her arms spread wide, Vanille grinned. ]

Okay, we're here! Welcome to Narshe, everyone!

[ ooc: One big thread for the group, party style, no tag order so it'll hopefully keep moving? aaand if Ursula and Ceodore want to meet with Vanille (and Serah, probably - also Fang?) afterwards, we can have a thread for that, too :3 Anything else, feel free to poke me.

PTGC: feel free to have your own thread to comment amongst each other on whatever's going on in the main thread! Vanille might manage a couple of text posts every so often! ]

[The feed cuts in abruptly to a teenage boy's pale face mid-conversation. He's experimenting with the sky phone's functions, examining it and pressing buttons. Behind him is the misty swampland some may recognise as Caedarva Mire. He looks up to address someone offscreen.]

Yeah, I think I get how to use it. They're a little like what we use back home.

Great, kupo! Goodbye, and watch out for the monsters!

What? Wait, don't just leave--!

[The camera jerks as Hope makes to chase after the moogle. But the white creature soon disappears into the thick fog of the mire, and the threat of monsters and getting even more hopelessly lost makes him stay put. He sighs in resignation, and looks at the phone.]

This is working, right? If it is, um... Hi. I don't know who'll hear this, but I'm looking for my friends. We -- we got separated. If anyone can help...

[His voice wavers and he sets the phone aside on a nearby rock, wrapping his arms around himself to try and hide the fact he's shaking. He got this far because of the others. He can't do this on his own. He just can't. Even if someone miraculously replies, what are the odds of them helping him?

After a moment's silence, something catches his eye. Across a stretch of swamp water there's a bright yellow feather on the boggy ground. He goes to the water's edge and strains to reach it.]

Chocobos? All the way out here? [He reaches further. The feather isn't too far, but Hope's not exactly the tallest for his age, and he can't grab it.] --Whoa!

[He loses his balance and topples into the swamp, knocking his phone off the rock in the process. There's an almighty splash and the feed ends.]

This is how you --

Thanks little guy, but I've been here before. Pretty sure I can figure out the Skyphone without much trouble this time around.

[Sabin clears his throat before pressing forward.]

Seeing as I've been brought back to Gaia in the middle of a small conclave of moogles, I would like to apologize to any of the ladies on Gaia who have unfortunately come under the watchful eye of my brother, Edgar Roni Figaro. I'm afraid that he's nothing more than a shameless flirt that really shouldn't be paid much attention. If you're wearing a skirt and you happen to come across a man with light blond hair prissed up with his beloved purple ribbons, I suggest you run the other way fleeing in horror. Otherwise, you'll be the poor victim of another one of his corny pick-up lines.

[Sabin grins broadly before laughing loudly. One may just see some moogles running away in fright from his booming laughter. Yes people, he is quite impressed himself.]

So... anyone care to fill me in on what I've missed?
