In the days since the events which led many of us Sky People to visions of our pasts, there has been a confirmation of the population of Gaia decreasing alarmingly in conjunction with the phenomenon. Roughly one in nine residents of Figaro have been either reported as missing or vanishing entirely in front of their loved ones. I cannot imagine the same thing hasn't hit the rest of the world as well. We can only hope that the worlds they have gone to are safe and prosperous.

I regret to inform you that my brother, Sabin Rene Figaro, has departed from Gaia. We're not sure if he disappeared in this latest wave or beforehand, but we can now confirm that he has gone as his campsite and PHS were discovered in the mountains. His loss will be keenly felt.

[As if the recent happenings weren't bad enough, Lindblum now seems to be experiencing a plague of cats.

Yes, cats.

Rainbow cats.

They rush around, meowing and pouncing and knocking things over and rubbing against people's legs, leaving multicoloured chalk dust all over their clothes. They last a few minutes before fading into chalk dust.

In the middle of this mess is a small child with a pile of chalk, alternating between drawing more cats on the road and practically screaming excitedly into the skyphone.]
