tantalus-born.livejournal.com[When Zidane appears on the screen, he is sitting on the throne in the castle, looking...annoyed. He's got his elbow propped up on the arm of the throne, and his chin resting on his hand as he stares at the camera. He sits there for maybe thirty seconds, staring at the screen, before he sighs and sits up.]
Of all the things I thought I'd have to worry about with the Queen gone, Petty Crime was not anywhere on my list. Really? I get it...we're all angry about what happened, about the invasion, about the Queen...I was angrier than any of you.
But that doesn't give you an excuse to start robbing people just because of where they're from! Come on! You're Alexandrians. That's supposed to mean something. You aren't criminals, you aren't thugs, you're citizens of one of the most powerful countries in the world. And now you're breaking into people's houses just because they're sky people?
Seriously?
[He sits up a bit straighter, trying to look regal. He mostly just still looks annoyed.]
When we find out who is doing it, you're gonna get arrested. 'They were sky people' isn't an excuse. If we catch you while you're doing it, it'll be worse. Trust me. General Beatrix has sent out extra patrols to watch the city, so don't think you can be sly and not get caught.
[The camera shifts to the side a bit, where General Beatrix is standing next to the throne. She looks...angry. Her hand is resting on the hilt of her sword, her eye is slightly narrowed and steely and cold, and if she weren't so good at not showing her emotions, it wouldn't be hard to imagine her shouting something. She just nods once at the camera, and then it swivels back to Zidane.]
Everyone knows how good her soldiers are. You're not going to get away with it anymore.
So knock it off.
