[The video turns on to show Zephyr. The little dragon is getting much bigger now. At just about three months old, she's starting to become a little too big for Kain to carry, more like a dog-sized dragon now than a puppy. She's currently hunched back and eyeing something above her. Kain can be heard speaking as he holds the device.]

Come on... I know you can do it again... I want a record of your early progress.

[As he waits, the dragon keeps sitting there, waiting... and then with a sudden flutter of wings, takes off into the air with the view following her. It's a short attempt, more a glide than true flight, but when she lands Zephyr has a bird caught in her mouth. She goes to work chomping on her prey.]

That was excellent, Zephyr. I'm very proud of you. [There's a sound as Kain does something with the device. Little does he know he hasn't turned it off- he's only turned the Video feature to Voice.] I only hope you will return with me, when the time comes. I don't know what I'd do without you...

[He's having second thoughts. Lots of second thoughts. He's not scared of Terra, not any more scared than he is of just about everything else. But if everyone who's here because of the spell is going-]

[His voice starts to tremble. He fumbles with the phone in an attempt to lock it to his own cast minus Eiko but instead just changes it to audio.]

-I'm gonna ...stop. I'm gonna stop again, aren't I? I'm only back here because of whatever brought the sky people here.

[UNRELATED! Action - for Steiner]

[A disgruntled airship worker brings a large jar of Gyshal Pickles to the captain of the Knights of Pluto]

These were left on the ship and they're stinkin' away the customers! Says they're for you.

[He points to a label hanging from the brim. They are indeed adressed to Captain Steiner. Because Vivi fails at catching airships in that old log with Eiko.]

[Raine's standing behind the counter of the tavern in Dali, with her phone resting on the counter. For anyone who knows her well, she's putting on her everything-will-be-fine face. A little stern, but that's what carries her through tough times. She intends for the post to be friendly and inviting enough.]

I'll be running the tavern in Dali until Slai's father returns. We'd be happy to have you in for a drink or meal if you're in the area.

[Her brow furrows in thought for a moment, and she adds on an additional question.]

Does anyone have the recipe for South Gate's Bundt Cake? I've been craving one.

[At first when the feed comes on, it's difficult to make out much, since the room that is shown is mostly dark. There is only a faint light from the window that reveals Vincent tossing and turning in his sleep.

His rest is clearly not peaceful- he seems to be in the midst of a nightmare. After a few moments, he struggles upright, woken from his dreams, but not escaping them. Vincent curls around himself with a strangled sound of pain as an aura of dark energy surrounds him. To any who know his transformations, the aura is familiar. The transformation is taking far longer than it usually would- it seems as though Vincent is struggling against it, but it may be a losing battle. His eyes are changing from their normal red to yellow, and his skin is turning to a vivid shade of blue.

Then there's the sound of a door being opened.]

Fuckin' hell- Vince! [Cid Highwind appears from the edge of the video, rushing toward Vincent. He isn't in time. As soon as he gets close, Vincent screams as enormous wings snap from his back, and the transformation finishes. Vincent has been replaced by Chaos, who is glaring at Cid with fangs bared.]

V... inc- [Chaos bursts forward with a sudden explosion of motion, headed straight toward Cid. The demon catches him off guard, and slams into him claws first, slashing at Cid with a snarl. The pilot goes down with a shout of pain, and Chaos aims Death Penalty at the wall of the room and fires, before leaping through the smoke and broken wall into Lindblum's night sky.]

[Eiko is not happy. Eiko is NOT HAPPY. Garland's got his comeuppance coming to him, and so does Kuja as far as she's concerned. But just like almost everyone else she knows, she's figuring that trouncing Garland will send everyone home. Everyone. Like the summoners, and Denzel and Marlene and Relm and OH CRYSTAL NO Vivi too. This, she does not like, and it manifests in tantrums over petty stuff all day long until the castle staff is ready to throw her out a window.

After this last tantrum, she flicks on her phone, to boss her Shrine team with what she knows, pointing her finger at the screen to emphasize her point.]

Listen up, I've been to the Water Shrine so I know everything about it. Do what I say and we'll beat that creep quick.

And I better get to see my friends before they leave. I mean it!
