[Lingering behind the scenes for far too long, the King of Damcyan decides to speak finally regarding this latest panic about the I'Cie. Edward wasn't very thrilled in how the public received this message or pleased with how some members of the council seemed to cling to the Lt. Commander's words. Therefore, in an attempt to stir up discussion amongst friends and acquaintances alike, Edward finally states his opinion on this matter.]

All this talk regarding the I'Cie has been quite interesting, but I honestly find it to be rather disgusting to think that a group of individuals are about to be persecuted for what they are. In all truth, I do not believe these people are a threat of any kind! How can I when they seem to take a more pacifistic approach to this matter than anything else?

Do not tell me I was the only one upon the council who heard what young Serah Farron had to say! The girl and her friends obviously aren't looking for a fight, but rather seeking for peace.

Must I remind those that persecutions of this magnitude has happened before in various lands? Even on Gaia itself, such events have transpired that completely annihilated a race of people!

Therefore, I ask you all to use your heads in this matter and not give in to bias fear. This is all I want from the citizens of Gaia, as well as us Sky People. Not too long ago, Sky People weren't accepted by the masses, and even now we aren't welcomed by most Gaians outside of native cities like Lindblum.

This is all I say regarding this matter, take my words as what you will.

I'm starting to think we're getting enough attention around this place. Probably more than I signed up for.

That aside, I'm thinking I could get used to this place. Gaia doesn't hold a flame to the beauties of Pulse but it's got something special of its own alright.

Sphere Break Tournament - Round 2 [Action/Video]

[The spectators gather in the streets of Luca for the second round of Sphere Break. The players are gathered, bets are placed and already rumours are flying around faster than the coins being exchanged. Word has it that a prince of Burmecia is among the competitors.

Still, that's no matter to Gilgamesh. He's already made a pretty sum selling coins to all the newbies - as well as offering playing tips for free, of course. Now he raises his hand to start off Round 2.]
