[Rydia has been a (relatively) decent patient for the past couple of days, though has now decided that she can manage to part with the bed for a little while. Or at least she says so. Those in charge of the infirmary might feel different, though she does appear significantly better. A bit pale, still, but no longer dead on her feet.

There are some people she wants to see, and so she'll be wandering the castle/town at a not-very-fast pace until she finds them. A certain spoony bard, ninja and cranky dragoon are high on that list, but she'll be happy to talk to anyone else on the way. Well, unless they yell at her to go right back to bed.]

[The screen flickers on to reveal a young Viera seated at the roots of the Iifa Tree, head in her hands. She's muttering to herself.]

Are you okay, kupo?

[Mjrn only shakes her head in response, not looking up. Persistantly cheerful, the moogle thrusts the Sky Phone up into a hand.]

Here, kupo! Don't forget this!

[There's a soft sigh as Mjrn gives an extremely absent-minded thanks, then the screen's focus shifts to Mjrn's face. She seems to need a moment in order to focus, and then only barely. This is one dazed Viera.

Her voice is a shaking a little as she speaks.]

I have revived, at the Iifa Tree....

[A few hours after the dragon attacks end, a certain Ivalician paladin is getting a phone call. So pick up already!]

I suppose I should have done this sooner and I'd like to say sorry about that. But then again, the dragons did come out of nowhere. Anyway, I thought I could address you all now while things are quiet. I have given up my ambassador status of Jidoor. I decided this because family is my first priority and as such, I had to make a decision. Jidoor is hardly a place that needs someone watching out for them, I came to realize, and so I went with watching over the people who do need me.

If anyone else would like to watch over Jidoor, they have my permission as I won't be the one doing it anymore. I apologize if this causes an inconvenience but I simply can't do it anymore.

If anyone has any questions or concerns, feel free to ask them here.

Thank you.

Laguna Loire.

[OOC: Going to work now for 5 and a half hours, will answer tags then. Bye!]

[Tending wounded fighters has absorbed every waking moment of Raine's time since the dragons first appeared. Now that they're gone, she's only just found the time to start skimming the network, and then not more than a few moments at a time, and nothing in depth. So early in the morning, she sets off for a walk out to the fields for some quiet to ask after friends, and to think about how to break certain news to her husband.]

I think they're all gone now. Is this sort of thing normal?

[A pause.]

Squall, are you alright? Aerith, I saw your news. I'm so very sorry. Rydia, how are you?

[She's tired, moreso than normal, so that is all she can think of to ask for the moment, so she turns off the phone.

Anyone in Dali can find her lingering outside, however, with a serious expression on her face.]

[ It is three days after the last of the dragons were wiped out. The feed turns on, to show Garnet, though she's barely recognizable as the queen. Her hair is combed back into a loose braid, and she's wearing much more practical clothing. Behind her is the backdrop of Alexandria's skyline -- she's obviously on a balconey of some kind. She pauses, as if waiting for some signal that the phone is recording.]

[ Quietly, she clears her throat ] Citizens, friends, and allies. I apologize for the late timing of this communication. [Inhale. She seems to grow a little bit more self assured] However. In light of recent events, the decision has been made to postpone the wedding originaly scheduled for May 16th. We apologize for any additional inconvenience this may cause to our guests. The occasion has been moved to the 23rd, so that this additional time may be spent where it is most needed; in aiding the people, and our allies abroad.

Thank you all very much for your time. [With a tired smile, she reaches to take the phone from whoever is holding it]

Was that alri-- [End feed]

[Shelke is standing at the edge of Dali, looking in on the town. Her arm is still bandaged, though she seems to have been picking at the edges of the wrappings, as they're a bit frayed. After a moment her eyes shift to her phone.]

Tifa, Cloud...I saw...I am sorry about Zack.

[She pauses, frowning, as if uncertain how to phrase the next part of what she wanted to say.]

I...is everyone else alright? I am sorry I was not there. I...

[Another pause.]

I just wish to be certain you are all fine.

[Not that she can apparently admit out loud that she was worried.]

[After surviving what he was sure was the 'Apocalypse', the face of a very livid Dr. Cid appears upon screen for all to view. Searching for the first words to say, Cidolfus takes a moment to glance over to his damaged home, and equally damaged Rooks. During the battle, one of the silver dragons collided with his house, so now the poor doctor is quite homeless until repairs are done. To add to his misery, the doctor's precious toys are all ruined, hence why he's sporting such a fearsome visage right now.

If looks could kill, Cidolfus would be the only man alive on Gaia right now. He's absolutely fed up, and the old scientist is demanding answers.]

...Is this sort of insanity common to Gaia? Why I ask, you say? Well, I find it quite impossible to believe that the Gaians can live within such a hostile realm without losing their damn minds.

Do anyone out there understand how the hell that happened? Never in my life have seen such a swarm of fiends, not even after the Midlight Shard laid waste to Nabradia! So with utmost honesty, I am quite sure there has to be answer somewhere about this madness.

If not, I'm conducting my own investigation promptly.

[Letting out a deep sigh, a loud crash could be heard in the background since the roof of his home just caved in.]

Oh, f---[-Connection is cut-]
