[Toiling away at work here within the grand city of Lindblum, the moody old doctor let's out a few curses here and there as he inspected his Rooks.] There's nothing bloody damn wrong with the thing! That idiot shouldn't have ever gotten so close to it.

[Letting out a loud sigh, Dr. Cidolfus continued with his work to install new A.I system he developed while spending his time in Dali. Unbeknown to those who know of the Archadian Weapons Researcher, the doctor has been moonlighting under another alias as of late, one that consists of a mock Rozarrian accent. If any listeners possess sharp ears, they could hear that mock accent still in the doctor's grumpy tone.]

What did I ever do to deserve this?! First, my son runs off to be a damn sky pirate, then the nethicite and its woes, and then Vayne. Honestly, I've made a few bad decisions here and there, but this just torture!

The more these fools mess around with my Rooks, the more people begin to speculate whether or not such devices are safe towards others. I know naught of why those buffoons died in Wutai; I haven't got the foggiest idea as of why small fragments of nethicite would be so harmful to them.

'Tis as if these fools only exist to earn my scorn. Bah! I just have to be patient...

Surely, that boy Larsa knows what happened there. If not, I'll conduct my own damn investigation and be done with it.

[Stopping in the middle of his rant, the doctor fell quiet since he needed to focus now.]

...Hrm. I wonder if there must be another source of energy that can power these Rooks. That one woman spoke quite poorly of the auracite, so not that.
