Did the Tree always revive people?

[Reno is wandering around Treno, looking at the screen every few moments but mostly keeping his eyes on where he's going. Don't want to walk into anything, right?]

Is it just me or does this place have a serious lack of fun? I'm not talking just Treno but... well, all of Gaia.

Everyone's so... uptight.

[He laughs and shakes his head.]

I sound like a total jerk but... well, sure bad things have happened but, if people died, and you're out there sat on your butt just crying, what good is that to the person who died?

Would they really want that?

[He shrugs, sighing as he stops somewhere particularly less crowded.]

So, why don't everyone just relax and try to look at the brightside? You're still alive. Live for your friends, right?

[He snickers a little.] I sound like a greeting card. Ugh. So, anyone know what a guy can do for fun around here?

I would like to extend my gratitude toward those who were worried about me, and especially toward those who were able to help me, either through information or by actually coming to Wutai. If there is ever anything I can do in return, please let me know.

I do, however, have a question for those who know of this 'nethicite'. Specifically... of the effects it could have on others.

[Tifa is sitting on a couch, but no ordinary couch, oh no. Sumptuous would be the word to describe it. Behind her, one can make out a beautifully decorated room, fit for a queen.]

Regent Cid is so kind. I was going to check in at one of the inns in Lindblum, but when I dropped off Eiko at the castle, he insisted that we stay here for a while. Well, maybe Eiko insisted because she wanted Denzel to hang around, I don't know. We've got the best of care here, and he's been much better lately. 

So... Cloud, Shelke, Aerith, when you get here, you can find us in Lindblum Grand Castle. There are a lot of things I want to talk to you about. Until then.

Should anyone have any information on the pirate attacks which have been occurring, I would appreciate hearing the details of it. Vayne Solidor has spoken with me about the various locations at which these attacks have taken place and contracted my aid to deal with the menace they present.

What I desire to know is what sort of men have been involved in these attacks, the state of their weapons, how well they fought and in what numbers.

Any whom desire to offer their support in the effort to put this menace to an end will be welcomed.
