That is his demand to spare Vaan's life. To simply hand such a fiend greater power is surely not an option, I know, yet I fear for what he may inflict upon Vaan should we openly refuse him. Penelo and others mean to search in the hope of discovering their location, to see Vaan freed... Are there any implications as to where Kefka may be holding him?

...I myself can offer little by way of aid. At this time and for the near future, I cannot leave Alexandria; it is almost time.

[011 - Rinoa - Video]

[Rinoa is in Galbadia Garden with her dog Angelo. It seems that she's persuaded somebody else to film her, because the image starts off with Rinoa at quite a distance in the main foyer. She pats Angelo's head. Then she stands up and throws a ball.]

Fetch!

[Angelo barks once and runs to fetch the ball, which is out of shot. Rinoa then walks up towards the camera, smiling.]

Angelo is back! I'm so happy! Fran and Refia, I wanna thank you again for finding and looking after her. She's been keeping me company while Squall and the others are gone.

[Angelo arrives back with the ball, and Rinoa crouches down to take it and hug her pet. Angelo is clearly a very happy and healthy pet, her eyes as bright as Rinoa's.]

I still miss you guys, of course. Garden's too big without you. It's kinda boring and lonely sometimes. But even though we're not in the same place, that doesn't mean we can't talk to each other.

Quistis, Nida, you're with Larsa, right? How are you guys? You're really bad at keeping in touch, you know. I'm starting to get worried.

Squall, Irvine, Balthier - how's the rescue going? Well, not really a rescue, more like picking Selphie up. She's pretty good at rescuing herself. I wanna hear from you too, Selphie! And I hope you give Balthier a good smack for getting you into trouble. He's the reason Ba'gamnan kidnapped you in the first place, isn't he?
