ATTN: Firmware upgrade

Good morning, citizens and friends of Lindblum. I am Regent Cid, and I am pleased to announce that our efforts to discover more about the new locations across the world have borne fruit. Thanks to the moogles who have worked so hard with us on the Midgar Project, we have once again made improvements to your Sky Phones.

Yes, a firmware upgrade is available as of today! It's rather useful if I do say so myself...

Ahem, at any rate the feature is as follows:

• Map Correction: We now have an update for the entire world! We have marked locations, both old and new, including paths to travel. This update in information should work with your 'Map Me' feature currently installed on your device. Please see our other support documents for the use of this feature. Routes to the Lost Continent and islands thereabout include sea travel, although we advise caution to all seafarers. The furthest shores in particular are still quite dangerous. The Forgotten Continent and Skysea are accessible only by airship. Once again, we advise all travellers to take care. Pirates roam the air as well as the sea.

To upgrade your firmware, simply download the attachment provided. Make sure that your device is fully charged. We cannot stress this enough. If your device should lose power during the upgrade, it will become unusable, and we will have to issue you a new one. Run the program, and the firmware upgrade will take care of the rest. When your device reboots, all of the new features will be available to you.

As always, we in Lindblum would be profoundly grateful to hear any feedback or suggestions so that we may continue improving our services as well as aid all of Gaia in these difficult times. I am here to answer any questions you may have, and will continue to make myself available to answer them in the days to come.

[Honestly, the only reason she's doing this is because she's been watching the mooglenet comments stack up against Kefka and she doesn't feel like reassuring ten people in ten different filtered comment chains. Hence, you all get a special filtered post.

There's a good long pause here, broken up every so often by a hitch in her breathing that signals she's trying to say something but can't quite figure out how. Eventually, she just says something.]

If you've been listening to Kefka lately, don't. I don't know if he- [pause.] ... if what he's saying is true or not, but there's a chance that it isn't. If you want to believe him, then believe him. But don't come back yelling at the world when you find out he's been lying.
