Princess, Marquis, I am afraid I have a little problem.

I am unsure if the news has reached you but I have been arrested for Vayne's murder. While I am quite aware of how easy it would be to blame me, simply for having a gun and disliking the man, I assure you I was not the assassin.

My problem? I am stuck in the dungeons of Lindblum Castle and while they have absolutely no proof they refuse to release me. Obviously I could break out, but I am trying not to implicate myself in a murder I had no part in. So, any chance of a royal hand?

So, no doubt you believe I murdered Vayne, but I suppose I should clear my name at least a little. I did not shoot the man, and while I doubt you believe me, I thought I should state so.

I am going absolutely stark raving mad in here, woman. If I am not out of here in a week, we break me out. I cannot take any more of their dreadful attempts at pinning evidence on me. They don't even have one of my guns to try to match the bullets to.
