... I was told by one who had come to this world, that there was a balance between the light and the darkness. If that is so, then Chaos intends to upset that balance. Perhaps.... perhaps the darkness can never be destroyed completely... but we can end this threat.

Hope is our blade to guard against the darkness. We must wield it well.

[Kain silently thinks that over. If anyone understands the light, it's the Warrior. He along with Cecil is one whose word he trusts on these matters.]
