[The video feed is a bit unsteady, at first. When it stabilizes, it shows a very winded Terra pausing for breath. She winces as she reaches up to shake the sand out of her hair, not having had time to heal herself just yet. When she's able to speak, her words come out in a rush.]

I was out training in the desert, when I saw a large creature lingering near the myrrh tree...a sandhorse. When I went closer to investigate, it attacked...and it's a lot stronger than I remember those being. I just barely managed to teleport away.

[She pauses after brushing away more sand, frowning.]

Something about this isn't right. I'd like to return. That tree is important, isn't it?

Are you hurt? You look a bit worse for wear, I must say.

[Terra shakes her head.]

Well...not much. Nothing I can't heal. I just didn't have the time right then, not since realizing it was more powerful than I remembered.

There was a monster near it.. guarding it, perhaps?

[Terra nods slowly.]

Possibly. It didn't like that I got close. But...why does it need guarding now?

Are you all right, Terra?

Good. I'm glad you're not seriously injured.

It sounds like a group outing is in order.

[She nods.]

I don't want someone else stumbling across it. They might not be as lucky.

[She's quick to nod, though it takes her a minute to reply.]

It's nothing that can't be fixed, I just wanted to get out of there first. I don't think anyone should go in that area again, though, not alone.

A wise idea. There are enough foolhardy adventurers out there that might run at it headfirst without stopping to think beforehand.

[Rinoa is looking fatigued, but somehow still perky. It's a good tired, like winning a race.]

It is if you can get myrrh from it.

[The feed shakes a bit as she re-enters the castle.]

If it's anything like the Lamia I encountered near the tree in Caedarva, it's likely a very dangerous beast. Those trees seem to draw monsters as easily as they draw people. Please be careful!

If Figaro is in need of assistance getting rid of the beast, I can lend my aid.

Well...I think that will have to be a group effort. Defeating that thing won't be easy.

When I heard King Cecil had disappeared, I came back to offer my aid to Queen Rosa. She was so distraught; I hope he returns to us soon.

[Terra sighs and nods.]

So am I. Sometimes, I wake up, wondering if anyone I know has disappeared. It's hard not to think about it, when it happens all the time.

[He smiles.]

I could never mind doing a favor for a friend. I'll be there shortly.

I hope we're able to break Garland's spell soon, so that we need not worry about these things much longer. Fiends are easier to handle than having someone disappear for no reason.

Will you be all right there, against the sandhorse?

[The video feed shakes a little as she enters the castle.]

I think so. We ought to have plenty of people, I just need to find them. If this will help break that spell somehow, then we need to do our part as soon as possible.
