[Rydia reaches out with her free hand to take it. In the other, is a glowing green sphere. Arriving with a foreign item in hand would normally have her full attention, but she actually gives it little notice for now, instead staring around wide-eyed at the ruin all around her.]

What happened?!? Why is--

Gotta go! You should too, kupo. This place is creepy.

[The green-haired woman frowns, staring off after the fleeing moogle before turning her face to the camera. She looks a bit pale, obviously shaken at the devastation all around her. Not only is it a horrible sight in and of itself, but it triggers old and scarring memories.]

The map says I'm in Burmecia, but...that can't be right. Can it? There's practically nothing left here, but some ruins on this tiny island and a myrrh tree! What happened to everyone?! Please tell me the rest of Gaia isn't like this....
