[Night has fallen and a small fire flickers in the dark, the only bright thing in a landscape that's utterly black. Terra has no moon and if there are stars, one cannot tell since the sky is shrouded by clouds. Mikoto is sitting cross-legged by the fire, her hands tucked in her lap.

This is a great place to camp, right? It totally is. Let's toast some muffins and have a chat.]

Back home, mostly. I could make stuff out of almost anything there, when I had to. On Gaia it's kinda different 'cause they really don't have a lot of machines there, but I can manage with stuff.

And you can do amazing things with certain normal objects too.

That's really cool. I know my way around an airship and a stage, and I know how to be light on my feet and quick with my fingers, but I could never do anything like this.

Maybe! I blew up some stuff on my own when I was learning, sure! But once you start to learn, you do that a lot less!

You mean with how some guys can use magic and others can't? I never really thought about it too much until the Sky People started coming.
