[Action - Campfire Post I] [Locked to people in Terra]
[Night has fallen and a small fire flickers in the dark, the only bright thing in a landscape that's utterly black. Terra has no moon and if there are stars, one cannot tell since the sky is shrouded by clouds. Mikoto is sitting cross-legged by the fire, her hands tucked in her lap.
This is a great place to camp, right? It totally is. Let's toast some muffins and have a chat.]
[ooc: Here is your first weekly campfire post! It's completely optional: your character can be tucked up in bed if you like, but this is a good chance to have some interaction that doesn't involve being attacked by dragons. Mikoto is available if you want to ask questions, but please feel free to threadjack and create as many subthreads as you like.]

How could this fellow fly with just one wing? Edward was a tad puzzle about that.
Watching the other in silence, Edward gazed at Genesis with some interest once he pulled out a book.]

[The corner of his mouth was upturned into a slight smirk, though his eyes never left the book.]
no subject
A-ah, forgive me! I didn't mean to stare.
no subject
I'm sure you didn't. [He snapped the book shut] It's alright. I have had worse than a mere stare.
no subject
I see. It is safe to assume that you get many stares because of that wing of yours.
[He glanced towards the feathery appendage with intrigue.]
May I ask why you only have one wing, sir? You fly as well as any bird, yet you only possess a wing.
no subject
Indeed, I do.
[But he's an attention whore and totally likes getting the stares, especially because the people here were more awed by the wing rather than thinking him a monster, which made all the difference.]
You may ask but I don't have an answer. I and two of my comrades were all given foreign cells before birth and all of us have only one wing. All I can guess is that it is a trademark of what we are.
no subject
[Edward had to blink at that since the technology in his realm is quite limited.]
Ah, so there are others like you? How interesting! I never seen anyone before like you until now.
[Now he's all smiles since it seems that the swordsman isn't annoyed with his intrigue.]
I am Edward, I do not believe we've met before.
no subject
Just two others. I would have been surprised if you had seen others.
My name is Genesis, no, we have not met before. But a pleasure it is to do so now.

[His eyes narrowed slightly, but that smirk was still there, if a little forced this time]
And the failure as well. But even the failures of man has some kind of success, in the end.
[After all, out of everyone, he's the last one to survive. Other than Cloud, anyway.]
no subject
[His smile dimmed a bit.]
I see, you was...created.
[Wow, so this man wasn't truly human after all. How unsettling, Edward didn't know what to think about that.]
You somewhat remind vaguely of a friend I know. He isn't human either, but rather a visitor hailing from another world.
no subject
Oh, I'm still human. I am also merely more than that, wing and all.
Oh? And where was he from?
no subject
In my world, such people were only known through legends and fables alike.
If no one minds?
You know Cecil?
Not at all!
Ah, that I do. Cecil is a good friend mine hailing from the kingdom of Baron. His lineage hails from the Moon, but he is truly a native of Baron.
[The bard smiled a little as he thought of his heroic companion.]
He has saved my life on countless times, and even helped save our world from a terrible foe known as Zemus. You see, Zemus was a fellow Lunarian like Cecil, one who loathed everything and everyone. My comrades traveled to the moon upon the Lunar Whale in hopes of thwarting the villain. They were successful, but Zemus used all his might and magic to become the embodiment of hatred, Zeromus.
[His smile faded a little.]
They defeated him and our world was saved, but now we find ourselves fighting another battle here upon Gaia. This Garland, he reminds me much of Zemus because of his disgusting tactics.
Zemus used a warrior by the name of 'Golbez' to reap havoc on my world. Golbez destroyed much...
no subject
So you are from Cecil's own world. I have met Cecil before, in a world different from this. In Gaia, he does not remember that time, but Cecil, Firion, and I, as well as several others, fought together against others such as Golbez.
I did not know of his heritage as a Lunarian, though.
no subject
Forget what I have told you! I had not meant to blurt out his business so openly.
[Goodness, Cecil probably didn't want to tell his other friends about his heritage out of worry they wouldn't accept him.]
What have I done? Perhaps he didn't want to speak about this considering that Golbez and Zemus both hail from the same world as he.
[The bard suddenly paused once he replayed what the Warrior said earlier.]
You battled against Golbez as well?
no subject
If you wish me to, I shall not mention it, but the knowledge changes little. I know that Cecil fights for the light, even if he has the ability to use the powers of darkness, even if others have. I would not change my opinion of a comrade so callously.
[Speaking about his opponents in the Void is a much more comfortable topic, one that he latches onto. It might be difficult to explain the situation of it, but at least he knows it through and through. ]
Perhaps not directly, but he was one of the enemies we faced in the Void.
no subject
Thank you, but what is this about the Void? I do not remember hearing Cecil speak about it.
What happened there?
no subject
In the Void,, ten warriors, including myself, fought on the side of the Goddess Cosmos, to restore order to the world. Ten others fought on the side of the God Chaos, who intended to plunge the world into disorder. The Goddess Cosmos put her power into ten crystals, to aid her warriors, and let them fight on even when she was defeated. Because of those crystals, we were able to continue on to defeat Chaos even when all seemed lost.
Chaos's defeat is the last thing I remember before appearing upon Gaia.
