[Action - Campfire Post I] [Locked to people in Terra]

[Night has fallen and a small fire flickers in the dark, the only bright thing in a landscape that's utterly black. Terra has no moon and if there are stars, one cannot tell since the sky is shrouded by clouds. Mikoto is sitting cross-legged by the fire, her hands tucked in her lap.

This is a great place to camp, right? It totally is. Let's toast some muffins and have a chat.]

[ooc: Here is your first weekly campfire post! It's completely optional: your character can be tucked up in bed if you like, but this is a good chance to have some interaction that doesn't involve being attacked by dragons. Mikoto is available if you want to ask questions, but please feel free to threadjack and create as many subthreads as you like.]

[Genesis sits by Mikoto and of all things, he brought a book with him, his wing tucked into his side. he had already written his findings in a journal he brought with him and so now he reads. The darkness is a touch unnerving but he is able to ignore it with ease. He had been in such darkness before.]

[The Warrior of Light is sitting by the fire, taking the time before he goes to sleep to clean his armor, sword, and shield. After being attacked by dragons before the airship even landed, he isn't going to take any chances with his weapons. It takes up most of his attention, but he occasionally spares a glance upward at the others sitting around the campfire.]

[He's not particularly cold but Vivi has bundled himself up tightly in a blanket more for comfort than for warmth.

He's cheered up a little, having resolved to make the most of what are probably his last days before he stops again. Even if those last days are to be spent in a dead, broken world it doesn't mean he has any excuse to waste them moping around. He has a tin soldier he bought from the market at Figaro while he was there in one hand but hasn't been playing with it for a while, instead looking into the fire and trying to find shapes and stories in its flickering movements.]

[Locke finds himself sore after the long walk here. Too stubborn to admit to maybe taking things too fast, he sits down gingerly on the ground staring at the campfire.

He chuckles at the thought of Edgar finding an empty bed when he gets back from the shrine and inwardly cringes at Celes' response.]

[Mjrn is quiet as she sits by the fire, first tending to her spear and then checking her supplies. She wants to be sure that everything is as it ought to be, and that she won't be lacking anything at a critical moment. The journey so far as made her a bit sore, but she does not give voice to such complaints, certain that the others are feeling similarly.

Stretching, Mjrn stares into the fire, leaving much of her food untouched. She knows she ought to take care of herself, to prepare for the trials ahead, but it's difficult to force an appetite. Instead, she stares pensively at the flames, becoming lost in thought.]

[While it proved to be a sleepless night, Edward hoped his comrades would fare better than he. Idly plucking the strings of his lyre, the bard played a soothing tune (http://www.heavenlyharpist.com/mp3/Serenity/08AngelsTouch.mp3) that would hopefully lull his tired companions to sleep. They needed their rest for what tomorrow brings, but most of all they needed to rest for the sake of their mind and bodies. Their plight against the Silver Dragons left them all feeling a tad fatigue, more so than others.]
