[Action - Campfire Post I] [Locked to people in Terra]

[Night has fallen and a small fire flickers in the dark, the only bright thing in a landscape that's utterly black. Terra has no moon and if there are stars, one cannot tell since the sky is shrouded by clouds. Mikoto is sitting cross-legged by the fire, her hands tucked in her lap.

This is a great place to camp, right? It totally is. Let's toast some muffins and have a chat.]

[ooc: Here is your first weekly campfire post! It's completely optional: your character can be tucked up in bed if you like, but this is a good chance to have some interaction that doesn't involve being attacked by dragons. [Mjrn sits nearby, resting her spear on the ground. She stares at her own bowl, but doesn't touch it yet.]

This world...it is quite eerie.

[Mjrn nods, though a tad hesitant.]

Alongside some, I have fought in times past; not many, however. Likewise, I suspect is is the same situation for many...but it is not an insurmountable obstacle. This journey shall give us the experience we need to work together.

[Mjrn mulls that over in thoughtful silence, then nods.]

We have little choice, no? So much depends on us. We cannot fail those left behind.

...I know not. Perhaps, since many believe it to be so. But it is my wish to remain in Gaia, not Ivalice.

[She sighs and stares at the fire.]

[A brief silence, then she shakes her head.]

It is my home no longer. I was newly an exile when torn from Ivalice. There was no time for me to make a life there. Since then, Gaia has become my home.

[A soft sigh.]

If it happens...I will readjust. But this situation as it is cannot continue. Gaia is out of balance. If I must leave so that it may be preserved...that is a worthy price, yes?

Thank you. I...I must not dwell, however. There is much to be done here. If we allow ourselves to become distracted, it will be all the more difficult to reach our goal.

[Questions are forming in Mjrn's mind -she is never without them for long- when Serah's comment abruptly sidetracked her. She stares at the girl in surprise for a moment, then a self-conscious smile forms.]

[Mjrn's heard plenty of rabbit jokes by now, said by ignorant and hateful people. Serah doesn't say it in an offensive way, so Mjrn's kneejerk response doesn't happen. She even smiles a little at that last part.]

I...thank you. Few Viera there are in Gaia as well, taken from Ivalice. I cannot fault you for being unused to my kin for not often to they show themselves.

It is what I enjoy about Gaia the most. There is much diversity and thus, much to learn from all who dwell within.
