[Penelo reclines on a couch in what amounts to a sitting room on the airship Mjrn and Reks own. The soft sounds of a kweh and peeping can be heard from somewhere in the room, although the sources aren't visible. Rather, the dancer is quietly looking at a rather stunning ring on her finger, which she slides off, then replaces to the other hand. Off again, simply held, then back on, as if she cannot make up her mind what to do with the item in question. She does this throughout the entire post.]

I'm really glad I went to that ball. It was so good to see so many old friends. I'm sorry for not remembering you sooner, but I'll work on making it up to everyone.

[Something about that is clearly troubling her, since she drops the topic altogether after a troubled look crosses her face.]

Some new friends gave me a little chocobo, but she'll need a name. Chit seems to like her.

Oh, Vaan, I know you'll see this. Have we decided where we're going next?

[accidental video]

[The video flicks on, the angle tilted badly and static flickers in repeatedly, a humming noise present constantly, beeping in the background. Visible only are a pair of boots, yet the person crashes to their knees, a groan distinctly male yet soft in its own way escapes.

Gloves hands press to the ground and a head of spikey blonde hair hangs in front of the screen. He's panting and shaking, one hand grasps at the other arm, curling around the ribbon that decorates his bicep.]

S-Sephi--... [Cloud hits the ground, falling onto his side, eyes closed, a deathly pale look about him. Several Rooks are surrounding him, far too many for Cloud to handle. After a moment or so, they begin to disperse yet Cloud remains unconscious on the ground.]

[Transmission Timed Out.]

[Phone Call to Quistis | March 23rd]

[ Ring, ring, ring! Quistis, pick up! Your new Xu is on the line. ]

[ OOC: Like the subject says, this is backdated to March 23rd -- likely around 7 PM or thereabouts, but definitely after 5 PM. Belated product of this conversation. ]

[Phone Call to Ser Gabranth | March 25th]

[ Ring, ring, ring, ring, ring! There is a guard-captain on the line and this is urgent! ]

[ OOC: Like the subject says, this is backdated to March 25th, likely not even an hour after this lovely conversation. ]

My Life as a Novelist [audio]

[Once the sky phone clicks on all of Lindblum could be heard for its owner is currently roaming along the city streets. The Marquis gained a few greetings from locals today as he made his way through the theater district. Taking a moment to greet them with a hearty ‘hello’, Ondore finally speaks.]

Greetings to all friends and comrades alike, I do hope the days look upon you kindly now that Winter’s chill has faded into memory.

Lindblum is just a sea of gossip today. I’ve heard all sorts of wild rumors thanks to some of the friends I keep, and many say that my latest endeavor has been well received by the public. The stars must be aligned in my favor, for there has been little criticism regarding my novel.

Although, one thing seems quite off about all this good reception…

[Taking a brief pause, Marquis Ondore organizes his thoughts.]

It would seem that Sir Lesales novel is causing me some unnecessary grief as of late. I wonder if that ardent was the one who started such a rumor for there is nothing in my novel that is similar to his other than location. Perhaps this is just a form of friendly jostling amongst friends and rivals.

No matter, I am merely thankful for whatever praise I can gain; I think my days as a novelist has just begun. With that said, perhaps I should take a note from the past and research some of Lord Avon's works. He is referred to fondly as the 'Bard of Avon' because of his most famous works, "I Want to be Your Canary" & "Wishing upon a Star". Many of the playwrights right here in Lindblum continuously praise Lord Avon by making slight references to his fabled plays within their performances.

'Tis widely known that even the famous actor, Lowell Bridges is an avid fan of Lord Avon's work. Just about everyone in the theater district is fond of this man, yet I have not read any of his plays.

I'll be sure to keep an eye out on the upcoming auctions in hopes of finding a second edition copy of Lord Avon's famous works, but until then I'll tend to my writing.

[Rydia's in a well-furnished room, pacing around and packing as she speaks.]

Eiko, that was a wonderful ball! I'm thrilled that I was able to take part in your birthday celebrations, and see some faces that I hadn't in a while. Meeting new people was a fun highlight, too.

[A grin forms.]

I wouldn't have missed that wedding announcement for anything, either. Congratulations again, Garnet. I'll see about stopping by Alexandria before things become too hectic...ha, when aren't they. But I'll still try.

I'd stay in Lindblum a little longer, but there are things I need to do and I'll be passing through soon enough, anyway. If there's anyone else I should have run into by now, better let me know before I leave! Otherwise, it'll have to wait until next time.

[She glances around, muttering.]

Now, where did I put that....

[Filtered to Yuna/Tidus/Braska/Edge...and Kain]

[A few moments later, she continues. Some of that cheer fades in favor of restlessness and perhaps some concern as well.]

I'm not going home to Troia, yet. I still want to check around Guadosalam and the Tree, to see what can be learned...and maybe another place, as well. If you still want to join me, I'd like to take care of that soon. If you're busy for a while, I'll go ahead and tell you what I've found. I just can't sit on this for too long.
