[After speaking to Minwu, Rinoa has a few people to call. Ellone and Marlene, there are calls for both of you! Also Seifer - Rinoa wants to know how you're doing.

That done, Rinoa starts packing. She asks Squall to come and meet her in her room. She'll also be looking for Quistis at some point. Anyone else in Galbadia Garden is free to bump into her. Rinoa wouldn't leave without saying goodbye.]

[Poor Tifa is about to get a surprise from a certain miniature Sorceress-in-training. And today was such a relatively peaceful day for her. She's enjoying a coffee break in the living room, sitting on the couch with Ruby purring in her lap.]

[Quistis listens patiently, nodding now and then, a somber and concerned expression having made its home on her face. She gingerly accepts the chalice, turning it over in her hands as she examines it.]

You'll do your best to be safe, won't you? [Exactly how dangerous this portal business is isn't something she's about to push aside.] I'm honored that you're entrusting this to me.

I'll be safe. Squall will look out for me.

[She smiles.]

Well, someone has to start collecting that myrrh and I know you won't lose it. Just a little something to keep you busy while we're gone.

[She smiles in reply, giving a single, determined nod.]

I take good care of it, I promise. Consider that myrrh collected.

I knew I could count on you.

[Have a hug, Quistis! Rinoa's saying goodbye after all.]

I'll miss you!

[Hug! They've really come a long way since the days when Quistis couldn't help feeling anything but jealousy towards Rinoa. She gives her a tight squeeze before letting go and taking a step back.]

I'll miss you, too. Of course you're expected to return in one piece, or else I'll find some way to lecture you.

I'd expect nothing less.

[Grin. But it is always worrying saying goodbye... If Quistis vanishes while she's gone, this is the last Rinoa will have seen of her.]

Take care, Quistis. I'll try to be back soon.

I plan to hold you to that. [She grins in reply, despite her anxiety. Worrying won't accomplish much at all.] Update me when you can.

[And with a wave, she departs.]
