[She's just out front of Tifa's house when she finds the letter addressed to her. Caught between blushing and giggling at what's written on the page, Aerith quietly reads through what's written. There's no doubt that the words aren't Zack's, since they seemed a little too romantic for him, but that doesn't stop her from reading the letter as if it had been from him.]

[Busy reading her letter, Aerith soon finds herself on the receiving end of a glomp.]

[She won't admit that she was a little startled by the suddenness, but Aerith's definitely happy to see him.]

Mmm~ it seems that someone left me a letter.

[ooc: I hope it's okay that I go under the assumption that Tifa explained everything to Aerith after arriving in Luca! If not, just shoot me off a PM and I'll change my reply ♥ ]

[ He does hide it well, but Aerith will try to keep things upbeat between them.

[ Her tone is playful while she reaches up to brush the bangs from Denzel's eyes. ]

[She thinks that it's cute that it falls back into his eyes.]

Mmm~ I don't think so, but maybe a fan? [She's tapping her chin in thought at that. Not that Aerith's minds at all, but it does have her curious.]

A fan? Awesome! Don't let Zack find out or he'll beat them up! POW! And sweep you off your feet, like they do in the books and movies.

[His air punching draws a smile to her face, and she's now playing along.] Do you think he would sweep me off my feet?

Aw~ would he ever? He'd be all WHOOSH and sweep you all romantic, and probably smooch you too!

[Denzel, why so cute? She can't help but want to ruffle your hair, but you're trying so hard that it actually allows her to keep her hand to herself.]

[Tifa will just be in the kitchen for when Aerith wants to come in. Door's open!]

[It doesn't take long before she's stepping through the open door. Heading into the house, she comes across Tifa in the kitchen.]

Have you seen Zack today at all, Tifa?

[She looks up, slightly concerned. It's always worrying when people ask if you've seen someone...]

No, why?

[Aerith doesn't look worried at all as she approaches Tifa.]

he wrote me a letter, but I get the feeling that it wasn't actually from him.

[That's reassuring. Tifa relaxes a little.]

A letter? What kind of letter?

[She tried not to teasingly smile at the question, but the flower girl couldn't help it.]

One professing his love. Kind of silly, isn't it~?

[Of course, she's only saying that because she doesn't yet know what to think about it. Everything's been a whirlwind, and while she cares deeply for Zack, it's been over five years since she last saw him, and her emotions were still jumbled.]

Oh...

[This is sounding very familiar...]

Can I see it?

Of course~

[She doesn't mind, and offers the letter over to Tifa.]

[She reads it silently.]

I think you're right. Zack didn't write this.

[A slightly rueful look.] I'm sorry, Aerith. I think this is a prank... and I know who did it.

You've nothing to apologise for!

[Aerith doesn't mind. She'd pretty much guessed that Zack hadn't, with all things considered.]

Although~ I am curious to know who did it eheh...

Marlene and her friends. They've been on a love letter writing spree. Not everyone took it well.

Mmm I can imagine, but it was a nice gesture.

[If they were as romantic as this letter, she could only begin to imagine how some of the others might have taken it. It won't stop her from teasing Zack the next time she saw him though.]

They won't get into too much trouble, I hope?

Oh, they're in trouble. I don't want to be too harsh though; I know they meant well. They just need to understand that not everyone appreciates getting fake love letters.

[She sighs. Parenting is hard. She's pretty good at it generally, but she doesn't always feel like it.]

Anyway, was there some other reason you called? Do you want to stay and have a drink?

Kids will be kids, right? You're doing a great job with them though.

[She's been watching, but she knows that Marlene and the others meant well with their gesture.]

I thought that we could use some girl time! A drink sounds great as well.

[Tifa smiles at the compliment.]

Thank you. And girl time sounds great! I've missed this, really. Okay, what would you like to drink? There's tea or coffee... or I could break out the alcohol. Cocktails?

[She's about to suggest tea when the mention of cocktails draws her attention. Aerith has never had one before, but she's always liked the look of them, so her expression brightens at the thought.]

I think that we both need to let loose a little, hmm~~?

I wouldn't object.

[She grins and starts mixing up the cocktails. It's her own special recipe, using ingredients found in Gaia.]

So other than the letter, how is everything?

[ Zack catches her reading, and looks surprised. ]

Something funny? Let me see!

[ What colour highlighted her cheeks intensified when she heard Zack's voice. Eyes widening in surprise, Aerith quickly clamped her hands (and the letter) behind her back as she spun around to see the SOLDIER.]

[ Her tone's teasing, but it's obvious that whatever is written there has caused her some level of embarrassment.]

What if it was a love letter from a secret admirer?

[Zack frowns. ]

Hey, wait a minute. A secret admirer? Do you know who it is?

[ He sounds ready to punch them in the face, that's for damn sure. ]

[Zack's tone has her giggling lightly, but it confirms her assumption that it wasn't Zack who wrote the letter. That won't stop her from teasing him, since it was just far too much fun not to!]

Mmmhm~ I do actually!

[She smiles brightly before placing a slightly wistful look on her expression.]

He's someone strong and handsome teehee~

[ Zack's annoyance is obvious, but it's not her he's annoyed at. Who the hell would write Aerith a letter? No way was he just going to sit here and not say anything to them! ]

What? C'mon, tell me who it is! Can't be handsomer than me, right?

[She notices his annoyance, and Aerith finds it difficult to keep her amused smile at bay.]

Hmm I'd have to have you both stand side-by-side and compare.

[Aerith's teasing, of course, and she waits just long enough for Zack to react before finally giving the poor guys some relief.

Leaning forward, she peers up at him.]

But that would be a little hard since you can't stand besides yourself.

[ Zack sputters for a minute, looking totally shocked. ]

WHAT, that's not funny! Let me see that! I never wrote you anything!

[She holds the letter away from him purposefully while pouting at his reply. It's all teasing though, even if she wouldn't let him know that.]]

So you don't like me then?

W-what? [ His face reddens a little. ]

Of course I like you! A lot! But...letters aren't really my style, I mean...

Come on, let me see that!

[The sight of his face changing colour almost undoes her pout, but Aerith manages to hold herself firm!]

Oh~? And just what might your style be then, hmm?

[Try as she might, Aerith's unable to keep the teasing smile from her face as she finally offers the letter to Zack.]

[ Zack's brow furrows as he reads - and rereads - the note. ]

The hell? Who would ever write something like this?

I am way less corny!

[The curiosity of whoever wrote it didn't matter to Aerith at this point. She's got something else in mind now, and she's not afraid to probe further!]

[She can't help but be curious towards the letter, and it's a curiosity that lingers with the flower girl as she makes her way inside. It doesn't take her long to stumble on Shelke, and at the greeting, Aerith's expression brightens.]
