[Cecil's mood has taken a nosedive since Ceodore's disappointing performance at the meeting, but he isn't letting it show. He'll be moving from person to person, looking to start conversation with just about anyone, friends and strangers alike. He's still new here and there's a lot to catch up on.]

[A faint smile lingered upon Edward's face once he spots Cecil amongst the crowd. The two hadn't had the time to catch up before the meeting, but he plans to fix this.]

[He smiles.]

What do you think of the council, old friend? They are a lively bunch, aren't they?

Edward! [He greets him with a smile. It's still odd to see him so young, but he's adjusting to it.] I'm glad to see you looking in better health than before.

They certainly are lively. But it is encouraging that the leaders here are as willing to cooperate and aid one another as the nations of home.

[It's an adjustment all the way around! To see Cecil this far beyond his years is quite a sight to behold, but it seems that the King of Baron has been spared from wrinkles and liver-spots. If it wasn't for certain aged features, Cecil would still look like his twenty year old self.]

Agreed! The council works hard to ensure the welfare of all realms displaced during Garland's madness. We may not always agree with each other, but we strive to do our best.

[Lunarian blood allows one to age gracefully, it seems -- although Rosa is as radiant as she ever was in Edward's time, too.]

It is more impressive still that we are able to work together under such pressing circumstances, and all of us from different worlds and times. No doubt our continued cooperation will be key to winning the battle against Garland.

[Rosa is one of the most beautiful women in their world! It's no surprise that she's still hot even at age forty-something.]

Oh, yes! [He nods in agreement.] Garland cannot defeat us if we stand before him as a united force. Amongst his minions, Garland lacks such unity with both Kuja and Lufene.

Those two aren't very fond of him from what I know, but they begrudgingly follow his orders nonetheless. While one has suggested before that driving a wedge between Garland and Kuja may work, I doubt such an opportunity shall arrive to do so.

Thus we must stand united against this foe while we still can.

[Ursula is a bit pensive herself, though she's doing her best not to let that show, either. The last thing she wants is to undermine the faith shown in her. So, when Cecil approaches, Ursula smiles and nods to him.]

Ah, Ursula. [Cecil regards her with a warm smile in return.] I admit, that meeting took a turn for the unexpected... Have you had time to think your decision over?

My experience in such matters is but little, limited only to Troia so far. Yet, if there is need of me in Narshe, I shall do my utmost to be of aid.
