[Ceodore's mostly hanging out on the fringes of the rest of the crowd. Not that he doesn't like socializing but he feels entirely out of his league right now.]
[Upon catching sight of Celes, Ursula pauses and regards her thoughtfully. If she is truly to be part of the council, then it behooves her to learn about the others taking part. That's reason enough to head over, isn't it? And...Celes' words intrigued her.]
[Celes' body language isn't the most inviting, but neither is she completely closed off. She watches Ursula approach, opting for silence for the moment until the girl gets close enough.]
Call me Celes. [She pauses. So this girl is to rule Narshe now? She looks only a few years younger than Celes herself, yet Ursula actually seems her age.]
[At the mention of the Lunatic Pandora earlier, Marquis Ondore seemed the most perplexed. How could a vessel such as that, summon monsters hailing from the moon? That brief explanation of the Lunar Cry did nothing to ease Ondore's befuddlement either, so he decided to ask Squall himself.]
Greetings, Commander Leonhart.
[He greets the other with a polite smile.]
I take it that you're the most familiar with the Lunatic Pandora, correct?
[Cecil's mood has taken a nosedive since Ceodore's disappointing performance at the meeting, but he isn't letting it show. He'll be moving from person to person, looking to start conversation with just about anyone, friends and strangers alike. He's still new here and there's a lot to catch up on.]
[A faint smile lingered upon Edward's face once he spots Cecil amongst the crowd. The two hadn't had the time to catch up before the meeting, but he plans to fix this.]
Cecil.
[He smiles.]
What do you think of the council, old friend? They are a lively bunch, aren't they?
Is it now? Well, that's certainly a comforting thought considering this device has been lingering over the valleys near Madian Sari for quite some time.
[Trying his best to remember when that floating temple first appeared in Gaia, Ondore continues.]
At first, many of us upon the council thought this device was constructed by none other than Garland himself. However, it seems we were wrong on that assessment but no other answers were given as to what it is.
Therefore, I must ask---what is this device for? Is it a weapon of war? The Lunactic Pandora is allegedly capable of summoning fiends hailing from the moon, but what powers it? I do not believe there's magic strong enough to accomplish such a daring feat.
[He peers at Ceodore in hopes of finding the truth within the youth's eyes.]
You seem so...uncomfortable here. I understand that the High Council may seem a had daunting to converse with, but they're all good hardworking people.
