Act XIV [Video/Action for those in Wutai] - I hate the same routine

[The video has been turned on, no not accidentally. Genesis had been originally wanting to make a video post, more to muse and see what was going on with the rest of the world but remembered something and simply didn't turn off the video. It is leaning on a windowsill of the Wutai castle and has a partial view of a mirror and the redhead standing in front of it. He is taking off his shirt, revealing several bandages on his arm and around his torso. His black, heavily bandaged wing is in view as it is only his right shoulder that is slightly obscured due to the position of the Sky Phone. However, he takes off the bandages from his chest and arm, revealing smooth, remarkably unblemished skin. Thanks to the Mako. Though at the moment, more fresh, pink claw marks adorned his back and more on his chest that is barely seen in the mirror.

He sighs softly. Ah, well, those would disappear soon enough. Next, he stretches his wing and unwinds the bandages. He smirks slightly, satisfied that there is hardly any pain from stretching the wing. Once the bandages are on the floor, he flexes the wing, carefully moving it and flapping it a couple times. A little stiff, but that was expected.]

Well, then.

[And then, his wing folds back against his back and then... it goes into his back! Most never see this as he normally has the wing out. Other days, he'll have it in. But he chooses this in the mornings, but considering what had happened... well, he couldn't exactly do this again. The wing has now fully disappeared and there is hardly evidence that it was ever there save a thin line down the left side of his back. His crimson shirt comes back on, buttoned up easily but lazily, leaving the top half unbuttoned. He then walks back to the windowsill and takes his sky phone.]

Still on? Ah, well, no matter.

[He opens the window and looks out. His glowing blue eyes, brighter in the sun, look back at the phone.]

And so, how fares everyone else upon Gaia?

[You know, one day he'll learn to leave his skyphone off...
and that wing? It's creepy. Have a blink- he's thinking that he really shouldn't make himself known. But you're obviously still injured.
]

... Are you alright?

Ah. Apologies - I had no intention of prying.
[What can he say? They looked nasty and he is rather susceptible to concern. ...Never mind the horrible feeling he got in regards to that wing.]

Merely a white mage.

Gaia has treated me considerably well. Better than most, you might say.

[It's not like he's had to endure dragon attacks or anything like what you have. Creepy feelings aside - He's impressed people can survive dragon maulings. Very.]

[Ohohoho. If only he knew it might alleviate the feeling of 'you aren't normal' he's naturally picking up from this feed. Or it might amplify it. Who knew.]

When a series of tasks on a world are complete, a transition between worlds is met in a favourable light.

[pinged.]

I have heard accounts of how something known as the Iifa tree has been functioning abnormally over the space of the past year. Did you awaken there?

[Noticing the wound upon Genesis' wing, the Marquis decides to check if the warrior is well. After Garland's latest try to reap chaos upon Gaia, Halim hadn't been very talkative as of late. A combination of his work at the Skysea is to blame, along with his own slightly reclusive nature.]

I assume Gaia has seen better days...

'Tis a shame that such halcyon days have yet to return.

You would think a veteran such as myself would know this well, but I truly fear the worst. The battles we face now are far different than the wars once waged in the lands I know.
