11 ♥ [Video] It's over I didn't want to see it come to this

[The video is horribly grainy as it statics in and out of the feed. Pictures of destroyed plant and wildlife are seen between the moments along with the sound of water dripping. The static fizzes out for a few moments and then fizzes back in, Firion is now in the video. His armor is cracked, more completely gone and a few of his weapons are missing. His bandanna just barely hanging on to the circlet that held it in place and he's bleeding from various wound that cover his body and face. His limbs shake as he falls to his knees with a grunt.

The video fizzes out.

And then it's back again. One Dr. Cid has Firion pinned to the ground by hard water chains.]

No!

[Just before the feed trickles out again, Firion's foot connects with Dr. Cid's groin and a scream is bellowed. When the video returns, Firion is bound even further by more chains, enough to hurt and an enraged Cid is grabbing his backpack from Firion and pulling the now familiar Aries Stone.]

I have you at last [Fzzzzt] shall rule this realm!

[Firion struggles further but the screen now fizzes out again, for even longer this time. Will he come back? Phone is hardly functioning from the devastation. Little by little, bits of audio is heard. And it isn't pretty. Firion's screams of pain are heard through the broken static before the phone finally shuts off completely]

[[OOC: Backdated to shortly after Firion showed off that stone in the first place, Log is here! and Cid Highwind is already set to go to Mysidia and pick up Minwu. Firion died 8(]]

-:- Video .o2 -:-

[The video starts, staring at what are obviously Aerith's feet, the grass of her yard and a few of the flowers in her garden. Since Aerith had called for a locksmith, she figured it would be a good idea to film said locksmith's handiwork. The conversation between the two of them had already begun by the time the video feed begins]

- he just hasn't answered his phone. Normally we wouldn't lock the door if we left since there's only one key, and I know he's a heavy sleeper, but do you really think he would sleep through all my knocking?

[The camera pans up toward the face of the locksmith-- Cloud Strife, his eyes focused on the door to Aerith's house even if it can't be seen behind his sunglasses.Cloud nods faintly, pushing a few spikes back and pushing up the sleeves of his black shirt, ready to get to work on getting Aerith in her house. ]

And you shouted to him too? Geez...

[He tries to shoulder in the door, grunting faintly at the effort it takes and how little the door is budging. He's not at all amused by the fact that he can't barge the door in.] What the hell kind of locks do you guys have? [He tries kicking it in. He knows Zack is always worried about Aerith being unsafe in their home but this is just crazy.]

Bolt locks, otherwise I would have just picked them myself. [She says it as if she's picked locks before, moving closer toward the door. Her hand came forward to press hard on it-- it was pretty obvious it wouldn't open.]

[Cloud grunts at the door like it just insulted him and tries kicking it again. There's a horrible cracking noise from the door but it doesn't seem willing to break in. Of course, with Cloud's temper he's not going to give up that easily.

He pulls out First Tsurugi and takes a few steps back.
] Watch yourself. [And with that warning done and the camera itself moving away as Aerith does, he takes a deep breath and slashes at the air, the blade hitting the ground and sending a Blade Beam of blue light surging towards the door, blowing the thing in!

There is silence aside from the dust and debris that fills the area around them before Aerith is moving forward with her camera, carefully sidestepping pieces of wood to glance inside the house. If Zack was there, she was sure he was awake now. Upon further inspection, the camera stops on the living room-- completely destroyed from the blade beam attack, a mixture of wood splinters and cushion fluff.

Cloud looks utterly dumbfounded, as if he thought his attack wouldn't just destroy her living room. Of course, being Cloud, nothing ever goes according to plan and he pulls his sunglasses off, looking dreadfully guilty for it all.
]

... Cloud? I think that was a little too much... you destroyed the living ro--

Aerith... I'm so--

[A loud crack sounds, and a small squeak leaves her mouth as a piece of beam falls from the ceiling. Cloud snatches her arm and pulls her back, then the camera is turned on him again and he looks at her with huge puppy eyes.] I'm so sorry, Aerith... I didn't think it would do that much damage... I thought I was toning it down a little...

It's okay, you can fix a living room. At least it wasn't my flowers~ [It can be assumed she was smiling at him by the tone of her voice before she moves to lead them inside again, the camera viewing the damaged and undamaged parts of the house. She swipes the phone along, and the frown slowly forming on her face is hidden by the fact she's the one carrying the camera.]

But Zack....

[The camera turns to capture her face for a short second before she moves to hand it to Cloud, heading up the stairs to the only room she knew Zack's things would be in. Cloud follows after her, knowing exactly what thought she's having. Climbing the stairs behind her, the phone getting a nice, unintentional view of her backside, Cloud follows into the bedroom. Only a moment is needed to take in everything and it's obvious Zack is gone.]

Aerith... [He reaches out and pulls her close, shutting off the camera, not wanting anyone to see their intial upset over the situation.]

[Voice]

[The message seems to come on mid-conversation between what's clearly a teenage boy and a moogle.]

- Like this?
- That's right, kupo. Just talk.
- Uh, o-okay. Thanks little Hummingway.
- I'm a moogle, kupo!
- M-moogle?

Um... this is Ceodore. Mother? Cid? Kain? Ursula? If you can hear this, I'm... I'm not sure where. It looks like a village. I'll find my wa- whoa! Is she for real?!

[There's a muted conversation, and the snippets that come through betrays the familiar sound of a Vieran accent. A very cranky Viera at that.]

W-wait! I'm not an intruder! I just got- I'll go once I figure out how.

[The sound of a warning arrow being fired whistles past the phone.]

Wh-what? N-n-no! Stop I'll- Whoa whoa WHOOOOOoooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaa!

[Tree branches are snapping following loud thuds as Ceodore topples off the edge of the treetop village and onto the unsuspecting Genomes below.]

Ow...

((ooc: Feel free to threadjack into anyone's response because it's all out in the open and fair game to see.))

[video] Now I can see what matters to me

[Cid’s in the cockpit of an airship, sitting in the captain’s chair, in what looks like a completely uncomfortable position, and flicking his lighter impatiently and wishing so hard he had just one cigarette or something to smoke. He snaps the lid on the lighter and tosses it across the small room angrily.

Hands come up to brush his hair back with an annoyed sigh. Cid’s not always the best at sugar-coating thing so…
]

It's as clear as crystal )

{OOC: About half an hour/forty five minutes later after Firion dies :C --Cid flew like about out of hell to get there;;;}

[Video, filtered from Doctorface and Clownface]

[Relm is holding something tightly in her hands and her room's door barricaded with a chair behind her. She's visibly shaken after seeing and hearing that record of Firion's death. Her sketchbook is at the ready, art materials littering the floor around her. Things are moving within the pieces of paper around her, a small army of tiny pencil sketches arming themselves with swords and shields that are really just lines and triangles, ready to defend their creator.]

I- I'm- that man, is he gonna come get me, too?

[video]

[The video feed opens to show a scene of devastation, the landscape torn apart in the only way raging waters have been known to do. A moment of focus on this ruin and the camera is shifted to show a blond man with rather long hair and dressed in attire typical of mages. The only thing overly interesting about his appearance would be the two 'horns' fashioned out of what appears to be the man's own hair on either side of his head.]

Does anyone know what happened here?

I just woke here in a town not too far from this...ruin. I had thought perhaps to walk to the city of Alexandria from here, but I'm not so sure that's a wise decision if there is something capable of such destruction as this running amok.
