It's only just occurred to me, but I don't believe that we're truly gone from our world.

Queen Rydia and King Edge are here from the Blue Planet, as I am, but from a time long before my own, back when I was only a child. Yet they didn't vanish from the world at the time they were taken from. I've known them and spoken with them for years before I found myself here, and watched them age as I did. When I was taken back to the Blue Planet to complete my task, they were still there, as were all the others who were brought to Gaia.

I know - first hand - that the spell's effects on time are ...odd, at the very least. The skyphone records from long before I was brought here seem to claim that myself and my brother existed here briefly as children. But if people don't seem to vanish from the worlds they're taken from-

-it worries me a little. But if it means that I'm not letting the elder down, I'm glad.

Hm. I'm not so sure it's that, but I also don't want to let down the people of Mist. If there's a reality where I'm still able to help them, I'm glad for it.

That... life stream? It's to be mixed into. It's to this world what the crystals are to ours. The traders said the Myrrh is memories, and so-

-at birth, in our world, the crystals know that we belong to the world when we form our first memory and they record it. Essentially, I think we'll be repeating that in Gaia. Telling her who we are and allowing her to claim us as her own.

...and then we won't be Sky People any longer, at least not to her.

Yes. If she accepts us, we'll be as much a part of the world as any born here.

I can live with that, if it means a stable life for us all.

I only hope that it will. If we can't go home, it'd- be nice to at least know nobody else will leave us behind.

I think so, yes. I won't pretend to understand how it works but - Queen Rydia never vanished in the time between her time and my own.

If that is true, then surely it is all the more reason that we should stay and defend this world, as well.

It is. If we still exist in our homes, then no harm will come to them from our remaining here.

And once Garland is defeated here, we may rest assured that all of the worlds are safe.

Merely some potions and other items. The group we traveled with has many members. Between us all, we should have everything we need.

Yeah, it's time. I don't know how to explain, but I got a glimpse of it when we opened the portal, it was like time had folded in on itself and been pushed and pulled and rewritten every which way.

Even if you could explain, I somehow doubt I'm meant to understand. But ...it sounds like it's under a great deal of strain.

Yeah. That's why it was such a difficult spell to do.

I see. Will ending Garland's spell ease that strain, even if we do remain here?

Yeah, I think so. We wanna make everything stable again. Even if we have to stay here to do it.

As long as the strain on the worlds is removed, it's maybe not so bad to remain here.

That's the idea... It was a really difficult choice though. Either way we're losing someone, and just accepting that was hard enough.
