[Lili is finally fully recovered and ready to set out after the journey to the Wind Shrine. She'll be wandering around Troia for a little bit. If anyone there would like to say hello, feel free to do so. She's slowly making her way to the airship docks.

In the meantime she also wants to call a few people to check in on them. So here's her list of calls (even though some of you probably don't keep your phones on you...):

How was your journey back here? Did you have to travel far?

[Mjrn perks up as Lilisette enters, as well as Chit. The cockatrice cheeps happily and begins feasting on the grains without delay. The Viera shakes her head.]

No, I did not. It was but a short distance between Orbonne Monastery and Lindblum.

[Well. Relatively.]

And your own journey, how did you fare?

The airships always seem to ride smoothly here, so all was well. I also made plans to meet up with friends in a few days.

Did you encounter a tree in the Monastery? Was all well with the guardian and your party?

[Mjrn nods.]

Aye. The MindFlayer was a challenging opponent, yet we prevailed. Upon its defeat, we secured the myrrh. The marks two trees, yet there remains much more myrrh to gather.

[She tilts her head, curious rather than teasing.]

I'm glad everyone was unharmed. Is that another one of the areas from your world? After seeing the tomb, I'd be interested to visit more of the places from Ivalice. The tomb was quite a wonder.

U-um, Rishfee and Vincent. Rishfee is a man who hails from my world, and the two of them helped me gather my first myrrh droplet. They're very kind.

I believe I recall those names.

[But that's just it, she's only heard the names, not anything else about them.]

Are you to gather myrrh with them again?

No, not this time. I'm just going to speak to them about a few things. Though, should the opportunity arise, I would assist them.

I did seem to inherit a child recently. A boy from my world, and actually from my home. He's such a brat; a real handful...

I was thinking of trying to find a pet like Chit, but a child... I think I might go crazy.

[Mjrn glances down thoughtfully, to Chit.]

Perhaps he needs a pet of his own? It would teach him responsibility...and distract him.

That... That might actually be a good idea! I think he misses his friends so much that a pet might be just the thing.

It's probably best to start with something like a chocobo. Perhaps I can ask Refia for advice. If I take it back with me he can't refuse.

[She nods encouragingly.]

Chococobs are easily tamed and when grown to full-size, he will have a mount as well. Refia would be a wise choice, I am certain.

I apologize. Are you going after another tree soon, or do you plan to relax a bit here?

[Mjrn smiles wryly.]

I thought to relax...but one new to Gaia is ready to begin filling her own chalice. I would see her protected, as best as I am able.

You are very kind, to help so many. That cannot be disputed. But you also deserve rest, and you've done so much already.

If you overextend yourself you're like to get hurt. Please watch out for your health as well.

[She nods, a little guilty as she stares downward.]

I shall...but I believe the greater gain is worth a small sacrifice. We need this cycle to end, Lilisette. Sky people and native deserve a stable world.

That is true.

But even so, I wish for your safety above all else. I'm certain you'll make it through without a problem, but I do worry. I'd hate to lose you.

[Mjrn shakes her head firmly.]

You will not. I promise this. My goal is to aid in alleviating pain, not be the cause of further distress.

I'm glad. When more trees are found, and more myrrh is to be claimed, I hope to be where I can join you. There are still many places on this world I'd like to see, and it's all the better to do it with a friend, helping others.

[Chit, happy for the attention, nuzzles Lili's hand.]

I agree. I am sorry I was not available to aid with the shrines, though I would join you on another adventure. And when it is time to face Garland...I shall be there, as well.

There's no way I'd let Garland go without giving him a piece of my mind! To do this to so many people...

I want to be certain he gets what's coming to him.

[Mjrn frowns, quick to nod.]

Given the widespread results of his actions, I am certain we will have many to aid us. As soon as we are able to reach him, I will be ready to strike.

I'm uncertain as to all he's done, and I haven't been here long... Perhaps it's not even my place to take up such a task. Yet I, too, would like to strike as soon as possible. Should the chance arrive I'd gladly strike out alongside you.

[She smiles at that.]

I would be glad to have you...and I believe it is your place, as much as it is anyone's who would fight. This is our home now, is it not?

That's... That's right, this is our home now.

"I will bow before neither god nor man." Someone I once knew used to say that. I never agreed with her methods, but... She would have done anything to preserve her world. Those are sentiments I can agree with.

As can I.

[She reaches down to absently pat Chit when the cockatrice waddles back over to her.]

It seems all must wait until this is resolved. I have scarcely given thought to afterward....
