[Phone Call to Porom]

[After that phone call, Ursula departs the infirmary. She's tired of resting in bed, waiting to recover the rest of her strength. Stubborn as ever, the princess slips out of the castle and heads into town. She'll begin doing some stretches and then some practice moves, determined not to neglect her training.

White mage folks and others are still welcome to nag, of course.]

[What he wants and what he WANTS rather conflict with each other. Ceodore turns sober himself and moves to cup Ursula's cheek in his hand.]

I want you to be happy.

[And if that means he has to suck it up and let go, then he will.]

[Ursula pokes him gently at that. The sudden shift in his demeanor worries her.]

[Ursula shakes her head, that smile returning.]

I don't recall saying that I didn't want it.

[But she holds off from further teasing, growing serious as well.]

[Or she wouldn't have brought it up in the first place. Feigning ignorance would have been easy, but she doesn't want to go that route. And to prove it, she leans in to brush her lips against his.]

[That's all the encouragement he needs. Not about to let the chance to kiss Ursula pass him by, he slips an arm around her waist and strokes her face with the hand already there.]

[They're far enough away that they won't have an audience, right? Hopefully so, since Ursula's now forgotten all about that. It's more fun to lose herself in that kiss instead, and let it linger as long as they can get away with.]

[Ceodore doesn't even care if they do have an audience, although it's the last thing on his mind at the moment. In fact, air seems to be a trivial enough concern for the moment too.

Hmm, no eventually there has to be a break in the kissing for air, but he's not letting go of Ursula just yet.]

[Air is nice...not nearly as nice as kissing, but some things can't be helped. She smiles brightly in response.]

Watch out--if you keep saying that, I might get a big ego.
