[Ah, Mysidia. Ursula was a bit delayed in reaching the mage town, thanks to other issues. Nonetheless, the princess has kept to her word and with Ceodore at her side. An unusually quiet, distant Ceodore. She's still not certain what has triggered the change in his demeanor, but there just hasn't been time alone to ask. Maybe she'll find out later, when he stops denying that he's fine.

At any rate, she's now wandering the town, heading in the vague direction of the Hall of Prayer but also content to explore until she runs into the white mage. The princess is curious as to how the other town from her world is adjusting to Gaia, and so she'll be stopping to chat with anyone who will give her the time. The temporary change of scenery is welcome and she plans to take full advantage of it.

At some point, Ursula pauses abruptly and peers around with wide eyes. She could have sworn she heard a very familiar voice....]

...Mother...?

Oh...him. Now I remember. You heard about that?

[And then she frowns.]

Just what kind of person do you think I am? Do you really believe I would kiss you and then go run off for a romantic encounter with someone else?

[Oh, no. She's not going to pity him right now. In case he forgot who's child she is, Ursula glares.]

[It's not pity. It's mercy killing! Save him from his own stupid. Oh he remembers, and sweet holy Eidolons, she looks like her dad right now. Intimidating? Hell yes.

Right. Manning up now. After a deep breath.]

You are the prettiest girl I know. Not hard to see that other guys think so too and would try to get your attention.

[Don't forget Sheila, who can out-intimidate even Yang. Ursula rests her hands on her hips, expression softening just slightly. She's still annoyed at Ceodore, but channels that into stepping over and slapping him upside the head...gently. Sort of.]

He wasn't the least bit interested in me, nor I him--which you could have found out if you had just asked me earlier.

[That's a well earned slap, and probably far less than he deserves. At least he's got the good grace not to argue back in his defense. There's really not a decent one anyway.]
