[A fully armoured Judge stands in amongst Gnomes, all of whom seem highly amused by him. He is quite clearly not as amused as they are. He has his arms crossed and a small Gnome is desperately trying to put a flower on his head, despite the helmet.]

He's so angry, kupo! Hahaha! [Gabranth draws his weapon and points it at the Gnome but he wavers slightly on the draw. He's exhausted and wounded.]

'Twould be best and wise of you not to continue that course of action.

Oh no! He's gonna hurt that Gnome! Kupo! Don't hurt the Gnomes, stupid! Kupo!

[Gabranth turns his attention to the moogles with the device.] What in the name of Galtea is happening? Overweight moogles and Gnomes?

Gods... I have honestly lost my sanity... [A small projectile hits his helmet and he grunts angrily, making for the moogles.]

Uh-oh... He's coming! Kupo! Hahaha! Run!

[The feed cuts abruptly.]

[Gabranth pauses for a moment, glad he's wearing his armour. He doesn't want Basch to see the look on his face. He's leaning on his longer weapon, Chaos Blade, to support himself.]

'Twould be more effective if they were to help and not simply irritate me.

[He sighs faintly.] ...You seem different.

You were always easily to irritate. [Is that a joke? No...]

It has been some time since I have seen you last. Much has changed.

Mayhap. [He reaches up to remove his helmet. It's a rare move for Noah but he's done playing as Basch's enemy.]

Then my attack failed. [Gabranth shakes his head.] What of this world, Basch? Where are we?

We are in a world known as Gaia, brought here by a man called Garland. From what I have learned, he seeks to destroy this world..

Yet another fool set on controlling things he like knows naught about.

Then we are not the only ones unfortunate enough to be brought here from Ivalice?

No, I have spoken with many. Princess Ashe and Lord Rasler, Vaan, Penelo, Fran and Mjrn, Marquis Ondore and Larsa himself. I've even spoken to Dr. Cid.

This Garland shows no bias when pulling from our world.

...Rasler? And your band of merry adventurers? 'Tis a pity that but one name alone stands amongst the rabble as someone worth my time.

Where is Larsa?

[He looks down slightly. That merry band of adventurers stood by him when no one else would.]

Aye, Rasler. It came as a shock to me as well. Larsa just arrived, at a place known as the Iifa Tree.

Why is he alive?

[He nods slightly.] Then I shall seek him out. I thank you for taking my place whilst I could not be at his side.

I haven't the slightest idea.

[He nods.] Think nothing of it, brother. I too, will go to him, once I am able.

Able? Is there something that ails you?

[He raises an eyebrow.] The he shall have but two Judge Magister Gabranths at his side? A well protected Lord indeed.

No, nothing ails me. I await Vaan and Penelo. [Which almost says he gets to do babysitting duty.]

You wait upon children that have little importance rather than to accompany Larsa? [Um, not impressed, big bro.]

[His reply is delayed and when he finally returns contact he looks livid.]

[And he listens... is that a twitch at the corner of his mouth? No, he's not going to laugh...]
