Hmmm... amazing. R&D would love to get a look at this. If this works the way this says it does, it would be a wonderful item to equip our field workers with. Although, I'm not sure how easily they would be able to replicate it. Hmmm...

[The man blinks suddenly and twitches as if he were just reminded of something he needs to be doing at this moment.]

Well, let's see if this works. Hello? Can anyone out there hear me? My name is Reeve Tuesti and I seem to be in... [He looks around] some kind of church, I believe. I'm not exactly sure where it is though. All I can tell is that there seems to be a hall of worship and many, many books around here. Aside from the moogle who gave me this, I haven't been able to find much else around here, including the exit. If there is anyone out there who may be able to render some assistance, please let me know. Thank you.

[The video feed seems to spin around sharply for a moment as Reeve seems to be studying the device from multiple angles, muttering things such as "Hmmm" and "I see" from off-camera. Finally, he sets it down on the table, giving a view of a wall with a bookcase partly in-frame next to it. Reeve goes to the bookcase and stands there, examining the titles.]

Hmmm... Modern Treatises on Contemporary Oligarchies... Care and Feeding of Hybrid Pack Animals... Physiology and Kinesiology... AH! [He bends down and pulls a book from one of the lower shelves] An Analysis of Continental Geology. Well, if I have to wait, I'm sure I can learn something from this. Maybe at least it will tell me where I am...

[Reeve carries the book back toward the table near the camera, disappearing out of frame. After a few minutes, the feed times out.]

It's possible you're at Orabonne Monastery on Pinnacle Rocks. It's a short distance away from Lindblum. I woke there myself...
And it has been where I was staying.

I see. Well then, I believe you might know best how I might be able to depart this place. While I do enjoy the thought of all these books so freely available, I'm not sure I would want to spend too long here. Especially since I don't seem to have been able to find any food or water yet. And I believe, from the way you mentioned Lindblum, that this might be a good place for me to acquire both of these. I do believe I will have to head there when I leave... however and whenever I manage to do so.

[OOC:: Did Rishfee guess Reeve's location right? If so, he'll come 'round and tell Reeve how to get out of the place. Even walk him to Lindblum if you like. ]

...Departing is rather simple. There's three floors to the monastery. Stairs connect them. At the bottom, the ground floor, is a door. You walk through it.

[Wow, snark. He catches himself -- and makes a small bow in apology. So sorry, he's a little pissy about having someone in a space he'd classed as his.]

Apologies. ...On the second floor, there is a cloth bag. In it is food. You're welcome to it. If needed, I can take you to Lindblum. It's perhaps half a day's walk on foot.

[A small look of contemplation.]

It isn't a bother. I can escort you if you wish... I'm on my way back now, and with a good pace you'll likely make Lindblum before nightfall. If you're going alone though, watch out for the monsters.

..Of course, I'm sorry for my comments. I forgot.. that we're all confused. My condolences for finding yourself in our situation. ...You may visit this place any time you wish. I will be gone soon. I have no claim over the place. Of course you're welcome.

...The only thing I can think of like that which belongs to me is my Linkpearl. It's a communication device from my world, worn as an earring. If it's azure and has a crack in the center, it's mine. And I would appreciate it if you didn't touch it other than to check. Otherwise you can have it. It's certainly not anything to do with me.

Hmmm... well, this pearl certainly did not resemble yours in any way, so I must figure that it belonged to someone else who must have lost it. It appears to be whole, but with a slight reddish-tan tint to it. Perhaps I can find more clues to it when I arrive at Lindblum.

Or maybe I should say when we arrive there? While I may be in rather decent physical condition, I don't think I would fancy my chances alone if one of those monsters you mentioned finds me. And if you happen to be on your way back, maybe I can even provide some support in some way. So if you would not object to traveling with someone who is still trying to make sense of this entire situation in which I find myself, I would be honored to have your company for the trip.
